The St. Paul University Dumaguete ROTC Unit carried on with its 6th Formation on 121300H September 2026, bringing together the Advance and Basic ROTC Cadets and Cadettes at the SPUD Ballfield.

Cadets were put through exercises requiring attentiveness to every instruction and discipline in every response. Under the direction of the ROTC Training Staff and student leaders, the formation served as a space for cadets to continue in their development of the composure, bearing, and command responsiveness expected of them as members of the Corps.

The afternoon’s training was a continuation of the standards being instilled throughout the semester—where presence, proper conduct, and willingness to learn matter just as much as the movement itself.

The St. Paul University Dumaguete ROTC Unit continued its First Semester training on 05 September 2026, as the Advance and Basic ROTC Cadets and Cadettes gathered at the SPUD Parade Ground, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, for the Fifth ROTC Formation, held from 1300H to 1700H.

With Drills and Ceremonies—Basic Commands as the focus of the day, cadets underwent continuous practice in the proper ex*****on of fundamental military commands. Each movement called for attentiveness, coordination, and precision, reinforcing the discipline required to respond as one body and one Corps.

The cadets continued to sharpen their bearing and proficiency through repeated ex*****on and formation exercises. Because in ROTC, discipline is not learned in a single day—it is built command by command, formation by formation, and training day by training day.

On September 5, 2026, the College of Nursing held their Capping, Candle Lighting, and Bestowal of Cloth of Service Ceremony. The SPUD Reserve Officer Training Corps Unit proudly congratulates our Third-Year Officers as they celebrate this milestone. 🕯️

As cadets, they have learned to stand with discipline, lead with purpose, and serve with honor. As Paulinian student nurses, they now take another step toward a profession grounded in compassion, competence, and selfless service. From the parade ground to the clinical setting, they carry with them the same commitment: to serve others with courage, integrity, and heart.

Congratulations, our student nurses and officers! May you carry the compassion and hope in every hospital and community, endure and persevere in the name of service, and stand strong when duty calls. 🫡⚕️
