‎Incorporating the theme, “𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘴, 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘚𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵: 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘉𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘏𝘦𝘭𝘱-𝘚𝘦𝘦𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘗𝘴𝘺𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘈𝘪𝘥 𝘈𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩," the first part of this event will include an insightful and meaningful talks from our dearest invited guest speakers. The talks will delve more than just mental health awareness, but also attaining school-life balance, the importance of seeking professional help, and promoting psychological first aid awareness among youth! 💯✨

‎The second part will comprise of the interpersonal relationship (IPR) activity specifically catered for our dearest PSYCHmates! Following the department's traditional team building format, this will include activities that will surely tickle the minds and gear up the bodies of our beloved psychology majors! 💥

The third-year BS Psychology students recently visited the Talay Mental Rehabilitation Facility as part of their Psych 306 – Abnormal Psychology course. The visit offered more than an academic requirement—it became a moment of reflection and deeper understanding. They were reminded that behind every diagnosis is a person with a story, a struggle, and a strength that deserves empathy and respect.

This experience allowed the students to appreciate the importance of compassion in the field of psychology. It challenged their perspectives, strengthened their sense of purpose, and grounded them in the reality that psychology is not only about theories, but about genuinely understanding people.

The group extends its heartfelt gratitude to 𝐌𝐬. 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐥𝐢 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐬. 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐢𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐮 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐨𝐫 for their guidance and presence throughout the visit. They also express their sincere appreciation to 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚 for her unwavering support in making this meaningful experience possible.
