During the 𝗗𝗨𝗡𝗚𝗢𝗚 𝗨𝗚 𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗕𝗢 𝗦𝗔 𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗞𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗡 (𝗗𝗨𝗚𝗦𝗔𝗞), the 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 (𝗜𝗧𝗦) was able to achieve a 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟭𝟬 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 spot in the 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆.

It has truly been a long journey for the society, from preparing the requirements, attending the interviews, down to waiting for the announcement of the winners.

It is truly an honor and a privilege to receive this kind of award and to be recognized by the school as one of the top-performing organizations. It has been a long and fulfilling year, and a memorable journey for the society.

𝗪𝗲, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆, are very happy that our hard work is being acknowledged and recognized by everyone.

This award is not merely for one individual, but 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗜𝗧 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 who helped build and navigate every activity in the school.

We are currently conducting a Tracer Study to track the career paths and professional engagements of our graduates from 2021-2025. This initiative aims to gather valuable information on your employment status, work experiences, and the relevance of the knowledge and skills you acquired during your studies.

The data you provide will greatly assist the department in evaluating graduate employability and in enhancing the curriculum of the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) programs to better meet industry demands.

We are pleased to announce that Christian Earl Siong and Genderson A. Vergara, both students from the Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) department, have been accepted into the highly competitive GCI Global Program, conducted by the Matsuo–Iwasawa Laboratory at the University of Tokyo.

This achievement is particularly noteworthy given the program’s global selectivity. In 2025, the GCI Global Program received more than 7,700 applications from over 430 universities across 30+ countries, admitting only a small number of outstanding candidates.

The GCI Global Program is a rigorous, intensive, hands-on, three-month online course designed to equip participants with essential competencies for global data science practice. The curriculum integrates theoretical frameworks with practical applications, encompassing key areas such as:

-Fundamental concepts, principles, and objectives of data science
-Python programming and contemporary machine learning techniques
-Data-driven problem-solving approaches and real-world applications in business and industry

We extend our sincere congratulations to these students and wish them continued success in their academic and professional endeavors.
