The Bootcamp for Aspiring Mentors (BAM) is a timely initiative created in response to the two-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, which limited students to online classes.
Recognizing the need to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical experience, BAM aims to equip incoming 4th-year students with the essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to become effective student teachers.
Through active participation in various activities, the BAM serves as a platform for students to engage in hands-on experiences that prepare them for their student-teaching journey.
Additionally, the bootcamp emphasizes instilling positive values and ideals among future student teachers, ensuring they possess the necessary pedagogical expertise, compassion, integrity, and professionalism to influence their students' lives.
By addressing the challenges posed by the pandemic and focusing on comprehensive development, BAM empowers aspiring mentors to succeed in their future roles as educators.
