Miss Jesel Pancho Lapasanda’s life is a shining example of how perseverance, courage, and faith can transform dreams into reality. From selling goods on the streets to becoming a Licensed Professional Teacher, an NTTC Holder, and a TESDA Diploma in Software Engineering Technology graduate, her journey reflects the true essence of determination and success.
A proud single mother of two, Miss Jesel faced life’s challenges with unwavering strength. Her days were filled with hard work and sacrifice, yet she never allowed her circumstances to define her future. Instead, she used every challenge as a stepping stone to reach greater heights.

Her educational journey began when she pursued a TESDA Diploma in Software Engineering Technology at Metro Dumaguete College, Inc. (MDC) as a scholar. The program equipped her with essential technical and professional skills, opening doors to opportunities in the field of information technology. Inspired by her success, Miss Jesel continued to aim higher. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at MDC and later earned 54 units in Continuing Professional Education with a major in Mathematics to qualify for the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). Through determination and faith, she successfully passed the exam and earned her license as a professional teacher.

Currently, Miss Jesel is shaping young minds as an instructor at Metro Dumaguete College, Inc. while pursuing her Master of Science in Computer Science. Her role as an educator allows her to share her knowledge and inspire students who, like her, are striving for a better future through education and perseverance.
Miss Jesel’s story is a testament that success does not come from ease or privilege but from resilience and the will to rise above adversity. She believes that every hardship carries a lesson and every obstacle is an opportunity for growth. Her achievements serve as an inspiration not only to her students but to all individuals who dream of changing their lives through education and hard work.

As Miss Jesel beautifully embodies, where you begin does not define where you will go. Through her relentless pursuit of learning and self-improvement, she continues to pave the way for her family and future generations—proving that with faith, perseverance, and the right mindset, nothing is impossible.
