Our heartfelt gratitude to our Schools Division Superintendent, Edmark Ian L. Cabio, EdD, DM-HRM, CESO VI, represented by Dr. Sara Jane Barrera, for gracing this meaningful occasion.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Noel L. Bayno, EPS in Values Education; Mrs. Sweet Louielyn C. Baylon; Prim Rose Therese S. Santiago; Razzel P. On August 12, 2026, a meaningful Turnover Ceremony of DepEd Lapels was held, led by the Schools Division of Dumaguete City Superintendent, Edmark Ian L. Cabio, Ed.D., DM-HRM, CESO VI, with the assistance of Dr. Sarah Jane T. Barrera, EPSvr.☀️

The ceremony marked the turnover of DepEd lapels for the teachers of three schools: West City Elementary School, West City Exceptional Child Learning Center, and West City Science Elementary School. Each teacher will be given a lapel as a symbol of pride, professionalism, commitment, and dedication to the teaching profession.📚

Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika, ating binibigyang-diin ang temang “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.” Isang paalala na habang tinatanggap natin ang makabagong teknolohiya, lalo nating pinahahalagahan at ipinagmamalaki ang ating sariling wika bilang salamin ng ating kultura, pagkakakilanlan, at pambansang kamalayan.♥️💙💚

WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL (School Year 2026–2027)📣📚

West City Elementary School officially opens School Year 2026–2027 with great enthusiasm and optimism as we welcome our learners, parents, teachers, and stakeholders back to school.🤗

The opening of classes was led by our School Head, Mrs. Gemma Cherrypie Teves, together with her assistants, Mrs. Marissa Abella and Mrs. Annicel Manila. The occasion was further honored by the presence of our Division Focal Person in Science, Mr. Ruel Torres, and our SPTA President, Mr. Jose Jay Noay, whose support and guidance continue to inspire our school community in achieving quality education for all.👩‍🏫📚
