🌍✨Earth Day 2026 Celebration✨🌍

Today, we proudly join the nation in celebrating Earth Day 2026 with the shared goal of protecting and preserving our planet for future generations. With this year’s theme, "Our Power, Our Planet" we are reminded that small actions, when done together, create a big impact.

Laura De Leon Halili High School, encourage our dear students, teachers, and the entire community to take part in meaningful and eco-friendly activities such as:

🌱 Planting trees or starting a small garden at home
🚯 Practicing proper waste segregation and reducing plastic use
💡 Conserving energy by turning off lights and unplugging unused appliances
🚶‍♀️ Choosing to walk, bike, or carpool whenever possible
🧹 Participating in clean-up drives within our school and community

Let us all be responsible stewards of our environment. Every simple act of care brings us closer to a greener, cleaner, and healthier Earth.

Together, let’s make every day Earth Day! 🌏💚

🌍✨ Laura De Leon Halili High School Joins Earth Hour 2026! ✨🌍

In unity with the world, Laura De Leon Halili High School proudly participated in Earth Hour 2026 a meaningful movement that reminds us of our shared responsibility to protect and care for our planet. 💚

For one hour, lights were switched off, but our commitment to the environment shined even brighter. This simple act symbolizes hope, awareness, and collective action toward a more sustainable future.

Our students, teachers, and staff came together to reflect, engage in eco-friendly activities, and promote small yet impactful habits such as conserving energy, reducing waste, and caring for nature.

Let us continue this movement beyond one hour. Every action counts. Every effort matters. Together, we can make a difference for our Earth. 🌱🌎

🌍✨ Earth Hour 2026: Sama-sama para sa Kalikasan! ✨🌍

🎶 Mag acoustic music session

✨ Makiisa. Makialam. Magbigay-liwanag sa pamamagitan ng pagpatay ng ilaw.

🌱 ZERO WASTE MONTH | COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP DRIVE 🌱

In celebration of Zero Waste Month, Laura De Leon Halili High School, together with its different school clubs and organizations, successfully conducted a Community Clean-Up Drive on January 16, 2026 at Pulong Sampaloc, Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan.

Students, club members, and advisers worked hand in hand in cleaning the school premises and nearby streets, showing unity and shared responsibility in protecting our environment. Each club played an important role in waste segregation, collection, and promoting proper waste management, contributing to the goal of a cleaner, greener, and zero-waste community.

This activity strengthened not only environmental awareness but also community cooperation and volunteerism. Together, we prove that small actions, when done collectively, create a big impact. 🌍💚

Laura De Leon Halili High School remains committed to nurturing environmentally responsible citizens for a sustainable future.

January is Zero Waste Month in the Philippines!

This month of January is declared as Zero Waste Month in the Philippines pursuant to Proclamation No. 760, s. 2014 in support of the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000 (RA 9003).

Laura de Leon Halili High School joins the nation in celebrating Zero Waste Month. As responsible Lauranians, let us all do our part in protecting our environment, remember it is a shared responsibilities. Here are some simple things we can do to minimize and keep our school and communities a ZERO WASTE:♻️

1. Reuse– Use items again instead of throwing them away.
Example: Bring your own water bottle instead of buying bottled water every day, or reuse containers for storing school supplies.

2. Recycle– Turn waste materials into new, useful items.
Example:Create pencil holders from used cans or recycle paper and plastic into art projects.

3. Reduce – Minimize the waste we produce by being mindful of what we consume.
Example:Avoid single-use plastics and bring eco-bags when shopping.

4. Compost – Convert biodegradable waste like food scraps and dried leaves into organic fertilizer.
Example: Start a small compost pit at home for kitchen and garden waste.

5. Segregate – Properly separate waste according to its type: biodegradable, non-biodegradable, recyclable, and residual.
Example: Use color-coded bins at home to make segregation easier and more effective.

Together, let us make small changes that create a big impact for a cleaner and greener environment! 💚🌍
