After decades of waiting, our long-standing concerns are finally moving toward resolution! Today’s productive audience with Governor Darel Dexter T. Uy together with Atty. Arvin L. Bonbon and Engr. Dioscoro Endab– made even more impactful with the full support of our Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Ma. Liza R. Tabilon, Engr. Ace Bael and Maam Jessyl Chiu– has given us the assurance we’ve been longing for.

This moment is a testament to what can be achieved when leaders listen and act with purpose. For years, our community has held onto hope that our needs would be prioritized, and now we see tangible commitment to turning challenges into opportunities. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to you Governor Uy for championing our cause and to Our Superintendent Dr. Tabilon for being our strong partner in this journey. Together, they are building a brighter, more equitable future for all of us in Zamboanga del Norte National High School!

When you walked through the conce tion hall you reminded us that leadership is not just about guiding from above, but about standing alongside those who build our future each day. Your unwavering belief in our mission stirs within me a relentless drive to always give my very best, to push beyond limits, and to ensure every effort we pour into our school truly serves our learners.

To our OIC CID Chief, Dr. Edgardo S. Cabalida– thank you for carving out time from your demanding responsibilities to be here with us. Your dedication to elevating the quality of education in our division is a testament to how we can transform systems through purpose and care. Your presence was a powerful reminder that every detail matters in nurturing a culture of excellence.

And to our Public Schools District Supervisor, Dr. Adrian G. Refugio– your steadfast support has been the bedrock of our progress. Through every challenge and milestone, you have stood by us, offering guidance, encouragement, and the resources we need to thrive. You understand that strong schools are built on strong partnerships, and your commitment to our community fuels our passion to keep building a place where every child can reach their full potential.

FROM BRONZE TO GOLD – OUR SCHOOL PAPER SHINES AS DIVISION'S BEST!

In just three years of its existence, our school paper has carved an inspiring journey of growth and excellence. Starting with bronze in 2024, climbing to silver in 2025, we have now claimed the gold trophy as the Best School Paper in the Division at this year's Division Schools Press Conference!

Against tough competition from top publications across the city – each with their own legacy of quality journalism – our team pushed beyond limits, turning challenges into stepping stones. Every article written, photo captured, and page designed reflects the dedication, creativity, and teamwork of our brilliant staffers and our guiding adviser MS BIANCA ISABYLLA ACURAM, who have poured their hearts into building a publication we can all be proud of.

Here's to raising the bar even higher as we set our sights on the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) and National Schools Press Conference (NSPC)! May our pen and lens continue to tell stories that matter and bring more honor to our school.

Unexpected OPCRF monitoring visit – but no pressure here! Our ASDS made it a truly positive experience with their warm, supportive approach to checking our progress. While it felt great to showcase how we’ve been working on our commitments, it also served as a valuable learning moment and timely wake-up call as we gear up for the upcoming rating period. A reminder that continuous improvement is key, and when leadership leads with understanding, even unannounced reviews become opportunities to grow stronger as school heads!

Rain couldn’t stop our sparkle! ☔✨ After the downpour, we jumped right back into setting up our Lights On display for the yuletide season — and we’re so proud to be the FIRST public school in our area to bring this magical Christmas experience to our learners and school community.
