In celebration of the Feast of St. Vincent Ferrer, the students of the Alberto P. Co**ha School of Medicine and the DMC Physical Therapy Department, together with the faculty of both departments, stepped beyond the walls of learning and into a mission of healing as they successfully concluded a community medical outreach in Victoria Country Homes, Polanco, Zamboanga del Norte.

More than bringing their knowledge and skills, they carried hearts ready to serve offering gentle hands, listening ears, and compassion that no classroom could ever fully teach. In every life they touched, they became more than students and educators; they became living reflections of service, hope, and the true spirit of medicine and healthcare.

This meaningful initiative was further strengthened by the invaluable presence and dedication of the faculty members of APCSOM: Dr. Rex N. Repe, Dr. Nero Franzze F. Alberca, Dr. Herbee Jean Z. Ederosas, and Dr. Petreyna Grace P. Macute, whose guidance, expertise, and commitment to service greatly contributed to the success of the outreach. Their leadership continues to inspire future healthcare professionals to embody compassion and excellence in the service of others. 💚

In celebration of the Fiesta of St. Vicente Ferrer, the Alberto P. Co**ha School of Medicine together with the DMC Physical Therapy Department, in partnership with Cecille’s Pharmacy, will conduct a Community Health & Medical Outreach on May 9, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the Function Hall of the St. Vicente Ferrer Church, Victoria Country Homes, Polanco.

This meaningful outreach aims to bring accessible healthcare services and promote wellness to the community as part of the fiesta celebration, reflecting our shared commitment to service, compassion, and caring for one another. 💚

DMC College Foundation, Inc. formally announces the establishment of the Drs. Lariosa and Basnillo Medical Education Scholarship Program in partnership with the Zamboanga del Norte Association of Illinois.

This initiative aims to expand access to medical education for qualified and deserving students from Zamboanga del Norte by providing scholarship opportunities at the Alberto P. Co**ha School of Medicine (DMCMed). The program is envisioned to address the growing need for medical professionals in the province by supporting scholars who are committed to returning and serving their local communities.

The institution expresses its profound gratitude to Dr. Marietta Lariosa-Basnillo for her invaluable support and commitment to advancing medical education and community development. Her contribution reflects a shared vision of nurturing future physicians who will uphold excellence, compassion, and service.

* 2 Good Moral Character Certificates (College Professors)
* Certified NMAT Score
* PSA Birth Certificate
* PSA Marriage Certificate (for married females)
* Medical Certificate (Hepatitis B Panel, Chest X-ray, CBC, Covid vaccine with booster)
* Psychological Placement Test Result

The Alberto P. Co**ha School of Medicine proudly welcomes DR. EUFRANIST JORNALES to our growing academic community!

Dr. Jornales brings with him extensive experience in public health, clinical service, and community leadership. His dedication to grassroots healthcare is evident through his years of service under the Department of Health as a Doctor to the Barrios, where he worked closely with underserved communities in Don Victoriano, Misamis Occidental.

Currently serving as a Municipal Health Officer, he has demonstrated strong leadership in managing health programs, strengthening local health systems, and promoting disease prevention, sanitation, and maternal and child health services. His commitment to improving public health outcomes continues to make a meaningful impact in the communities he serves.

Dr. Jornales completed his Doctor of Medicine at Mindanao State University, and further advanced his expertise with a Master in Public Management major in Health Systems and Development from the Development Academy of the Philippines. His clinical training at the Philippine General Hospital has also shaped his strong foundation in patient care and clinical practice.
