Today, marks the culmination of Mathematics Month Celebration. It was indeed a whole month battle of critical thinkers and creative minds. This month's celebration ended up with different activities which were actively participated by our learners, spearheaded by our smart Mathematics Teacher, Ma'am Jhieza Cadano, with the support of our School Head, Ma'am Cristina R. Hiolem and the rest of the faculty and staff of Galas NHS- Olingan Extension.
Our Math Quiz Bowl challenged sharp thinkers to solve fast and think smarter.
The Poster Making activity turned numbers and formulas into meaningful art.
Creative voices also shined through powerful and inspiring math slogans.

Indeed, loving number is not as difficult as we think. We only need to embrace its purpose and its value.

Galas National High School-Olingan Extension having a Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session led by our resource speaker Mrs Mary Ann S. Latian - Senior High School Teacher, was both insightful and empowering. And also teacher actively participated in meaningful discussions and shared practices that promote supportive and inclusive learning environments.

Today’s session seminar on “Understanding Inclusive Education”, was truly inspiring. It highlighted the importance of creating learning environments where every learner feels valued, supported, and given equal opportunities to succeed.

Together, we can build a more welcoming and inclusive school community for all.”

In celebration of Children’s Month, the school has prepared exciting activities a short program and games such as Tug of war, Patintero, kadang race, , Tumbang preso and that inspire joy, teamwork, and the spirit of childhood.

Through our fun and engaging games, we hope to inspire teamwork, confidence, and friendship among our learners. Each activity is designed not only to bring laughter, but also to strengthen important values such as cooperation, sportsmanship, and respect. As they play, explore, and participate, we want every child to feel valued, included, and truly celebrated.

May today’s activities bring joy and lasting memories to every learner. And may we continue to honor and protect the rights, voices, and dreams of all children—not only this month, but every day of the year.

📌 Galas National High School — Olingan Extension. Monthly Spiritual Formation & 2nd Quarter Recognition Day.

At Galas National High School-Olingan Extension every second Friday of the month is dedicated to our spiritual growth. We come together for a Holy Mass for Catholic students and a Bible Study for our non-Catholic students—strengthening our faith, unity, and understanding as one school community.

Today, we also held our Convocation and Awarding Ceremony, honoring our outstanding Honor Students and recognizing those with Perfect Attendance. Your hard work, discipline, and perseverance truly inspire the entire GNHS family.
