08/06/2026

Thank you, Lord, for keeping us safe during the school opening despite the sudden earthquake. We are truly grateful for the opportunity to continue our program.

Despite the situation, our SELG President, Angel Faith G. Ochagabia, was able to successfully deliver her State of the Learner Government Address (SOLGA).

The objectives of SOLGA 2026 (State of the Learners Government Address) are to inform students about the current status and accomplishments of the student government, present future plans and initiatives, promote transparency and accountability in leadership, and inspire active participation among learners in school programs and activities.

Brigada Batang OSES became a meaningful and inspiring activity as SELG officers led the effort to prepare the school for the upcoming opening of classes. Early in the morning, the school buzzed with excitement as officers gathered with a shared sense of responsibility and teamwork.

Armed with cleaning materials and a clear plan, they began sweeping classrooms, wiping windows, arranging chairs, painting chairs, and picking up litter around the school grounds. Each task, though simple, contributed to the goal of making the learning environment clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone.

As the day progressed, the SELG officers demonstrated leadership, discipline, and commitment to service. They assigned tasks, guided younger students, and ensured that all areas of the school were properly attended to. Beyond cleaning, they also helped decorate classrooms and organize learning spaces, showing their dedication to both order and creativity. Brigada Batang OSES was not just about preparing the school physically—it also strengthened camaraderie, responsibility, and pride among students. Through their hard work and teamwork, the SELG officers set a positive example, reminding everyone that a clean and prepared school begins with collective effort and a heart for service.

Wearing the school uniform is an important way of showing discipline, unity, and pride in one’s school.
At Olingan South Elementary School, pupils are encouraged to wear their official uniform, especially every Monday, as a symbol of respect and responsibility. When learners come to school in proper attire, they feel a sense of belonging and equality, regardless of their backgrounds.

Wearing uniforms not only promotes order and discipline but also helps students focus on learning rather than clothing differences. It reminds everyone that they are part of one community working together toward success.

Below is a photo for everybody's reference.
