BIWA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL: Rising with Pride at the 2026 ZNAA Qualifying Meet
(By: Marcelito L. Dadan-School Sports Coordinator)
The playing field is more than a place where victories are won and losses are recorded. It is a stage where character is tested, dreams are pursued, and the values of discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and sportsmanship are put into action. This September 3–6, 2026, Biwa National High School will proudly send its athletes to the 2026 ZNAA Qualifying Meet in Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte, carrying with them not only their skills but also the hopes and pride of the entire school community.
Participation in a provincial-level competition is itself a remarkable achievement. Behind every athlete who steps onto the field or court are countless hours of training, early mornings, physical exhaustion, sacrifices, and moments of doubt that they chose to overcome. Their presence at the ZNAA Qualifying Meet is proof that dedication can transform challenges into opportunities and dreams into something worth fighting for.
But Biwa NHS must remember that the true measure of success is not found solely in the number of medals brought home. Winning matters, but how we compete matters even more. Our athletes must demonstrate respect for their opponents, accept both victory and defeat with humility, follow the rules, and uphold the good name of their school. A champion is not simply someone who finishes first; a champion is someone who gives everything, inspires others, and remains honorable regardless of the result.
The 2026 ZNAA Qualifying Meet is also an opportunity for Biwa National High School to showcase what its young people can achieve when teachers, coaches, parents, and the community work together. Every cheer from the sidelines, every word of encouragement from a coach, and every prayer from a family member becomes part of the athletes' journey.
As our athletes travel to Sindangan, may they carry the spirit of Biwa National High School with confidence and pride. Let them compete fearlessly, support one another, and never forget that they represent more than themselves—they represent their school and the community that believes in them.
To our Biwa NHS athletes: play with courage, compete with passion, and represent our school with honor. Whatever the final score may be, give your very best and make every moment count.
Good luck, Biwa National High School!
Stand proud. Fight as one. Rise as champions.
ONE TEAM. ONE GOAL. ONE BIWA! 💙💜🏆
