The Gender and Development (GAD) Office of Jose Rizal Memorial State University – Dipolog Campus proudly joins the nationwide observance of the 𝟰𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸, reaffirming its commitment to fostering an inclusive, accessible, and equitable academic community where every individual is valued and empowered.

Anchored on this year's theme, "Rights First, Legislation Forward—Strategic Action for Equal Participation and Inclusive Development," the celebration serves as a reminder that persons with disabilities have the right to equal opportunities, meaningful participation, and access to education, services, and development initiatives.

As members of the JRMSU community, let us continue promoting respect, breaking down barriers, and creating a campus environment where diversity is embraced and no one is left behind.

Human trafficking is a serious violation of human rights that exploits the vulnerability of individuals for profit. Through Republic 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗡𝗼. 𝟵𝟮𝟬𝟴 (𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟯), as amended by Republic Act No. 10364 (Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012), the Philippines strengthens its commitment to preventing trafficking, protecting victims, and prosecuting offenders.
