As the year gently comes to a close, the Mother Department—ASTED—gathers in gratitude, joy, and togetherness. This year-end Christmas party is a celebration not only of the season, but of the shared journey, dedication, and milestones we have achieved as one department.

Embracing the theme "Teaching as a Calling in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Leading Learning with Purpose and Technology," our future educators demonstrated both vision and mastery.

Teacher Education instructors of St. Vincent’s College Incorporated actively participated in the Syllabus Enhancement Workshop spearheaded by the Office of Admission and Instruction, in collaboration with the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Human Resource. The workshop aimed to strengthen instructional design and curriculum alignment through the integration of Artificial Intelligence in teaching, and instruction promoting innovation, adaptability, and relevance in today’s evolving educational landscape.

Anchored on SVCI’s core values of Excellence, Service, and Character Formation, this initiative reinforces the institution’s commitment to shaping competent, value-driven educators ready to embrace 21st-century teaching. Together, our educators continue to champion quality education that empowers learners and uplifts communities.

The PSTs attended the Quality Professional Exposure Program Orientation on November 7, 2025 at the SVCI Audio Visual Room, an essential step in preparing them for the realities of the teaching world. This orientation served as a vital foundation, guiding them toward professionalism, competence, and meaningful classroom engagement.
