All First-Year Students are required to undergo a dental check-up as part of the requirements for their University Clinic records.

Reminding all students and employees of JRMSU to please stay alert and be guided by the latest health and safety advisories regarding the haze affecting parts of the Philippines. 🌫️

The haze is linked to smoke and transboundary particulate matter from forest and land fires in Kalimantan, Indonesia, carried toward the Philippines by prevailing winds. Air quality conditions may change, so everyone is encouraged to stay informed and take necessary precautions.

• Wear a well-fitting mask when going outdoors, especially in hazy areas.
• Limit prolonged or strenuous outdoor activities.

🔥 EXTREME TEMPERATURE ALERT: STAY SAFE FROM HEAT STROKE 🌡️

As temperatures continue to rise, it’s important to protect yourself from heat-related illnesses like heat stroke.

💧 Stay hydrated—drink plenty of water even if you’re not thirsty
🌤️ Avoid direct sunlight, especially from 9 AM to 5 PM
🧢 Wear light, loose, and breathable clothing
🧴 Use sunscreen and protect your skin
🪑 Take frequent breaks in cool or shaded areas
🚫 Avoid strenuous outdoor activities during peak heat hours

⚠️ Watch out for symptoms of heat stroke: dizziness, headache, nausea, rapid heartbeat, and confusion. Seek immediate medical help if these occur.
