We are pleased to inform the faculty, staff, and students that the Guidance Office is facilitating access to professional mental health interventions provided by Dr. Quitco, a psychiatrist.

Interested individuals are requested to visit the Guidance Office to take a test, after which a referral will be provided. Please be assured that all information will be kept strictly confidential.

🎗️ Empowering Minds Through HIV Prevention and Awareness

The City Health Team, in partnership with the JRMSU Dipolog Campus, successfully conducted its HIV Prevention and Awareness Program last February 9–13, 2026, reaching students from the following colleges:

• College of Liberal Arts, Mathematics and Sciences
• College of Business Administration
• College of Teacher Education
• College of Criminal Justice Education

The week-long initiative aimed to strengthen awareness, promote responsible health practices, and reduce stigma through accurate information and open dialogue. Students actively participated in discussions that emphasized prevention, testing, and the importance of informed decision-making.

Another batch of lectures is scheduled on February 24, 2026, for the College of Industrial Technology and the School of Midwifery, continuing the university’s commitment to proactive health education and community empowerment.

Together, we build a well-informed, responsible, and health-conscious campus community.

🦷 Promoting Smiles, Promoting Health!

The Philippine Dental Association (PDA) Dipolog Chapter successfully conducted an informative lecture at JRMSU Dipolog Campus in partnership with the University Clinic last February 16, 2026 at the campus gymnasium.

Beyond the lecture on oral health awareness and preventive dental care, licensed dentists from the PDA generously provided free dental extraction services to the students and staff, extending care beyond education and into direct community service.

In addition, Quadcure Diagnostic Clinic conducted a free blood typing activity, helping students and staff become more aware of their blood type — an essential piece of information in times of medical emergencies.

This collaborative outreach reflects our shared commitment to holistic health and community wellness. Thank you to all partners, healthcare professionals, and volunteers who made this meaningful initiative possible.

Together, we continue to build a healthier campus community — one smile and one life-saving drop at a time. 💙✨

In observance of Dental Health Month, the University Clinic will conduct mandatory check-ups for all first- year students on February 09-13,2026 at the JRMSU Dipolog Campus School Clinic, from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM.

This initiative aims to promote good oral hygiene and encourage everyone to take better care of your dental health.

Lets work together in building brighter, healthier smile across the campus!

📍All first-year students are strongly encouraged to participate, as this is required for clinic record purposes.

The medical team will have a blood pressure monitoring set up in the food Hub tomorrow Dec.15, 2025 at exactly 4:00 AM. All runners are strongly encouraged to have their blood pressure check before participating in the run.
Please stop by the BP station before you start running. Your safety is our priority.
