Recognizing the importance of school safety and emergency preparedness, Olingan Senior High School Stand-Alone, under the leadership of School Principal Cristina R. Hiolem, successfully conducted an Active Lockdown Drill on July 16, 2026 with the active participation of the teaching ,non-teaching personnel and learners. This activity aimed to strengthen the school's readiness in responding to security threats and other emergency situations by familiarizing all stakeholders with proper safety protocols, response procedures, and coordinated actions during critical incidents. Through regular drills such as this, we cultivate a culture of vigilance, resilience, and preparedness, ensuring that the safety and well-being of every learner and personnel remain a top priority.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the Philippine National Police – Dipolog City Police Office, headed by Chief of Police PLTCOL Khisna B. Asaali, and most especially to PLT Bagalanon and company for facilitating this meaningful and highly informative activity. Your expertise, guidance, and commitment to promoting public safety have greatly contributed to the success of the drill and have enhanced our school's capacity to effectively respond to emergency situations.

Olingan Senior High School Stand Alone successfully conducted its first Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session for School Year 2026–2027, focusing on DepEd Order No. 16, s. 2026: The Guidelines on Lesson Planning and Learning Design through the ILAW Framework.

Headed by our School Principal, Mrs. Cristina Hiolem, and with the session speaker, Jeissabel Denolan, the session provided an avenue for teachers to deepen their understanding of the ILAW Framework, strengthen instructional practices, and further enhance the quality of teaching and learning.
