Celebrating 16 Years of Excellence, Unity, and Service at Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU)! 🎉

JRMSU’s 16th Anniversary celebration was filled with energy, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments that truly showcased the vibrant spirit of the university community. The day began with an invigorating Fun Run from Dipolog Boulevard to the JRMSU campus, bringing together students, faculty, and staff in a shared celebration of health, enthusiasm, and unity.

The festivities continued with a lively Boodle Fight and Karaoke session, where students and instructors from the College of Criminal Justice Education bonded over food, laughter, and music—strengthening relationships beyond the classroom and highlighting the strong sense of community within the college.

Adding to the excitement were the traditional Larong Lahi activities, highlighted by an intense yet fun-filled Tug of War, reminding everyone of the importance of teamwork, resilience, and the rich Filipino culture.

Sixteen years of JRMSU stands as a testament to its unwavering commitment to excellence, leadership, and service. Here’s to more years of meaningful memories, stronger partnerships, and greater achievements.

Congratulations to our outstanding instructors in the College of Criminal Justice Education for their incredible achievements! Dr. Bernard G. Gilaga, Ph.D., our respected Dean, has been honored with the 20 Years in Government Service Award. Dr. Renante Salvana, Ph.D. (C), has been awarded the Special Citation Award for BS Crim Program Chair. This recognition highlights his remarkable contributions in guiding and shaping the criminology program. The celebration began with a solemn Holy Mass, followed by an energetic and feisty Budol Fight, reflecting the College’s vibrant spirit in engaging local partnerships and international cooperation toward advancing sustainable development

🟢The College of Criminal Justice Education of JRMSU–Dipolog Campus successfully ended the month with its extension program held at the Residence of Balay Dalangpanan sa Kabataan (BDSK) in Anastacio, Polanco, Zamboanga del Norte on November 28, 2025.

This activity reflects the college’s commitment to service, leadership, and genuine care for children in conflict with the law.

This milestone was made possible through the hard work of our faculty, staff, and the CCJE-SG officials.

As the month ends, our commitment continues—looking forward to brighter days and greater contributions to service.

The JRMSU Dipolog Campus Criminology Department formally ushers in the Christmas season through its Lights-On Ceremony, a meaningful observance that reflects the department’s commitment to service, integrity, and community cohesion. As the lights are illuminated, they stand not merely as festive adornments but as symbols of hope, resilience, and the unwavering dedication of future law enforcers who strive to uphold justice and peace. Led by Campus Administrator DR. MARVIN A RECAPENTE and SSG President HON. Julevehn Tamparong Bencila, This moment invites the entire Criminology students, faculty, and staff to reflect on the challenges overcome and accomplishments achieved throughout the year, and to reaffirm our shared pursuit of discipline, academic excellence, and ethical leadership. May the radiance of this celebration inspire unity, compassion, and renewed purpose as we move into the holiday season, guiding us toward greater commitment to public service and to the values that define the Criminology profession.

For the past two days, the SG and Crime Buster Society have been working hand in hand to build our Candy Land–themed Christmas tree and hallway decorations for CCJE.
This collaborative preparation reflects dedication, creativity, and teamwork 🤝 as we transform the space for the Lights On event later ✨.

Representatives from the Sustained Health Initiatives of the Philippines (SHIP), in partnership with the Department of Health (DOH), visited the campus to conduct an information campaign on STIs, HIV, and AIDS, together with free HIV testing for first-year Criminology Students. The activity, which was held on November 18, 2025 at Room 27, Criminology building.

This aims to enhance student awareness on STIs, HIV, and AIDS and offer free and accessible testing and orientation.

CCJE-Dipolog successfully held its 1st Teacher-Parent Association Assembly 2025 on November 16, 2025! Discussed important matters like Mortuary and membership contributions, and elected a new set of officials. Thanks to all the teachers and parents who participated!
