AQUMATSHS Pride: Nicka Angel Abang Dominates Division Meet Billiards Competition
September 8, 2026
Alberto Q. Ubay Memorial Agro-tech Science High School (AQUMATSHS) proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of Nicka Angel Abang, a Grade 9 student, who emerged as the Champion in both the 9-Ball and 8-Ball Billiards categories during the Division Meet held on September 5-8.
Angel's double victory showcased her exceptional skill, determination, and sportsmanship as she outperformed competitors from different schools across the division. Her outstanding performance brought honor not only to AQUMATSHS but also to the entire school community that continuously supports student-athletes in their pursuit of excellence.
This achievement did not come as a surprise, as Angel had already demonstrated her dominance in the sport during the District Meet, where she also secured the championship titles in both the 9-Ball and 8-Ball events. Carrying the momentum from her district victories, she confidently advanced to the division level and once again proved that she is a force to be reckoned with in billiards.

Good afternoon,

Providing a quick update on ARAL Summer (which may have been shared previously):

☑️ DATES: May 6 to June 2
☑️ SCHEDULE: Daily - Monday to Thursday school learning, Friday Home Learning
☑️ LEARNERS:
📌ARAL Summer-Reading - Incoming Grade 2 to incoming Grade 11
📌ARAL Summer-Mathematics - Incoming Grades 2, 3, and 4

The issuance of the guidelines for the Summer Remediation Programs (which includes ARAL) is in its final stage of review and awaiting clearance. Kindly await updates by the end of this week.
