TEACHERS' DAY CELEBRATION: A HEARTWARMING TRIBUTE TO EDUCATORS
The school's vibrant campus was abuzz with excitement on Teachers' Day as the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) and various organizations successfully initiated a special activity to honor the dedication and hard work of its esteemed teachers. The celebration was a testament to the students' appreciation for their teachers' tireless efforts in shaping their young minds.
The festivities began with a high-energy dance performance by the Grade 3 pupils, setting the tone for a morning filled with music, laughter, and heartfelt gestures. The program continued with the reading of the National Prayer for Teachers by Bree Yonah D. Valle, the Auditor of SELG, followed by the soulful rendition of the National Anthem led by Sofia Andrei Ventura, the Vice President of SELG.
In her opening remarks, SELG President Jarizh S. Pioquinto welcomed everyone and emphasized the significance of the day. She highlighted the crucial role teachers play in molding and shaping the future of this great nation.
The school principal, Mrs. Venus J. Catipay, delivered an inspirational message, emphasizing the importance of partnership between educators, students, and parents in achieving academic excellence. She encouraged everyone to strive for excellence and reminded them that their teacher, as the second parent, needs our respect, appreciation and support for the hard work and dedication they put in every single day, from working late at night, harnessing their skills and abilities, instilling good values and discipline, to honing their minds with knowledge and wisdom that would help them to a successful life and shape them into future leaders of our nation.
The Grade 4 pupils took to the stage with another captivating dance presentation, showcasing their talent and enthusiasm. Suddenly, the mode of the event becomes emotional as Ms. Rachell A. Samante, the YES-O representative, delivered a poignant spoken poem. Her heartfelt words of appreciation and gratitude brought tears to the eyes of many teachers, underscoring the impact of educators have on their students' lives.
The most anticipated part of the celebration was the giving of tokens, letters, and flowers to the teachers. As students presented their gifts, Ms. Steffany Nicolle Enderez, a GSP representative serenaded all teachers with love songs, concurrently Ms. Machel O. Egad, The SELG Secretary, reads sweet and heartwarming messages coming from the learners of different grade levels, creating a moments of pure joy and warmth. The Grade 3 pupils, together with the rest of the student body, further delighted the teachers with a poem presentation and mass singing, paying tribute to their dedication and hard work.
In her closing remarks, Sofia Andrei T. Ventura expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the teachers on behalf of the student body. She lauded the educators for their unwavering commitment to nurturing and guiding them to a good path of a successful life.

The Teachers' Day celebration was a resounding success, thanks to the meticulous planning and ex*****on by the Supreme Elementary Learner Government officers, headed by Ms. Jarish S. Pioquinto together with their Teacher-adviser, Mr. John Mark A. Yu-ag and the helping hand of various organization representative. Nevertheless, the undying support of the passionate learners of Diwan ES. It was a day filled with love, respect, and appreciation for the teachers, who truly are the pillars of education. As the students sang their praises, it was clear that the lessons of gratitude and respect had been learned well.
