We are SEARCHING for Citizen Scientists under Project Sound-track.
Project Sound-track objectifies to promote citizen science program in Dipolog City through setting up sound observers over various places in our city. Noise pollution is an invisible danger. Nonetheless, affects people without visual precautions. It can cause serious health problems for people and wildlife, both on land and in the sea. This kind of pollution is any unwanted or disturbing sound that affects the well-being of all organisms.
To attain this advocacy, we need to gather interested Diplognons – professionals, homeworkers, students, enthusiasts, environmentalists, and others who are willing to spread awareness and add knowledge to the Science. The researchers are currently conducting a study on measuring the noise pollution in the city. In order to complete our computations, we need volunteers to lend a hand for 5 days, with the help of your smart phones, in the presenting the basis of these.
If you own these then you are qualified to participate in developing the idea of noise pollution:
✅Smart phone
✅ Internet access
✅Devotion to spread awareness
✅ A Dipolognon/ a citizen from Dipolog City
