𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋-𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌 2026

In partnership with the Department of Health (DOH), Sangkol Elementary School (JBLJMS) carried out its School-Based Immunization (SBI) Program on September 17, 2026.

Grade 1 pupils received Measles-Rubella (MR) and Tetanus-Diphtheria (Td) boosters, while eligible Grade 4 female learners aged 9–14 received the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine for protection against cervical cancer.

This initiative reflects the shared commitment of the Department of Health (DOH), the school, parents, and health personnel to protect our learners and promote a healthier school community. Together, we continue to take meaningful steps toward ensuring that our children are healthy, protected, and ready to learn.

Sangkol Elementary School (JBLJMS) conducted its General PTA Assembly this afternoon, September 18, 2026, bringing together parents, teachers, and school stakeholders to discuss important updates and plans for the school community.

Key matters included the learners’ Term 1 academic performance, PTA financial updates, School Improvement Plan, resource mobilization, school programs and activities, and other school and learner welfare concerns.

The activity strengthened the partnership between the school and parents toward a safe, supportive, and improved learning environment for all learners.

A beautiful day of warm fellowship and meaningful conversations as we welcomed our new School Principal, Ma’am Lindy Lou C. Pasco, through a simple lunch together, followed by our first-ever staff meeting under her leadership at Sangkol Elementary School (JBLJMS).

The gathering was also graced by the presence of Hon. Rogelio D. Regañon, Barangay Captain of Sangkol, Dipolog City and Mr. Niel Nonato F. Sebastian, School Principal of Cayasan Integrated School.

A simple gathering, but a meaningful start to a new chapter for Sangkol ES (JBLJMS).

You have always created a school environment where everyone could feel accepted, respected, and supported. More than a school leader, you have been a father figure to us. Someone we could look up to, approach, and trust.

Ma’am Cirila Regañon, your compassion, and dedication have touched so many lives. As a hardworking teacher, you have always given your best to help your learners reach their full potential. [On the recently circulating threat against a public secondary school in Dipolog City]

A threatening message circulating through social media has been reported and is currently under verification and investigation by the appropriate authorities. As a precautionary measure, all personnel are directed to remain vigilant, immediately report suspicious behavior, strictly observe visitor and access control procedures, and refrain from sharing unverified information that may cause unnecessary panic. Safety and security measures are being coordinated with concerned agencies.

If you see a threat online, don't be the first to share it. Be the first to report it. Prevention starts with responsible action, not viral circulation.
