In view of the forecasted high heat index of 43Β°C, classes at GALAS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL are hereby suspended on August 18, 2026 (Tuesday), starting at 11:30 AM onwards to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of our learners and teaching personnel.
To ensure the continuity of learning, the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) shall be implemented. Learners are encouraged to continue their learning activities at home while observing proper health precautions.
Everyone is reminded to:
β€’ Stay indoors whenever possible
β€’ Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated
β€’ Avoid unnecessary exposure to extreme heat

The team conducted follow-up activities and checked on the implementation of TEACEP, including how we are utilizing the learning materials and resources they have provided.

πŸ’™BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 | DAY 1 & 2 ACCOMPLISHED! πŸ’™

A heartfelt thank you to all our teachers, parents, volunteers, stakeholders, and community partners who joined us during the first two days of Brigada Eskwela at Galas Elementary School.

As we continue preparing for the opening of School Year 2026–2027, we invite everyone to be part of this meaningful endeavor. Our school is still accepting donations such as paint, paint brushes, cleaning materials, gardening tools, construction supplies, and other resources that can help improve our learning environment.

Every act of kindness and every contribution, big or small, will go a long way in creating a safe, clean, and child-friendly school for our learners.
