For the safety of everyone, all sports, scouting, and other school activities scheduled for today and the next two days are suspended until the safety concern has been cleared.

This precautionary measure is being implemented to ensure the safety of all learners, teachers, coaches, and school personnel.

Attention, SFIS learners, parents, and personnel!

Due to the 43°C heat index expected today, August 20, 2026, Sta. Filomena Integrated School will implement a whole-day suspension of face-to-face classes.

Instead of coming to school, learners will continue their studies through Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM). Teachers will provide the necessary modules, Learning Activity Sheets (LAS), and other learning tasks through the appropriate class communication channels.

Everyone is reminded to prioritize their health and safety.

Stay hydrated, keep cool, and limit outdoor activities, especially during the hottest hours of the day.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to assist learners in completing their assigned activities while staying safely at home.

🌡️ ANNOUNCEMENT | SHIFT TO HINAY MODALITY

In view of the Extreme Heat Condition, Sta. Filomena Integrated School will shift to Hinay Modality effective August 18, 2026.

For the safety and well-being of our learners and personnel, SFIS will implement Whole-Day ADM (Alternative Delivery Mode).

Drinking enough water, getting enough sleep, and staying active are also important habits that help us stay healthy and ready for each new day.
