Campus Journalism Training Workshop 2026

Two days of learning, creativity, and honing the skills of our young campus journalists! The Campus Journalism Training Workshop was held on August 10–11, providing participants with valuable knowledge and practical skills in journalism.

On August 10, Mr. John Michael Manzanillo served as the speaker and discussed Copy Reading, highlighting the importance of accuracy, clarity, and careful editing in every published article.

On August 11, Mr. Mark Angelo De Guzman shared his expertise in Editorial Cartooning, guiding the participants in expressing ideas, opinions, and issues through creative illustrations and meaningful symbols.

Through this two-day workshop, the participants were given an opportunity to learn, create, and strengthen their confidence as young journalists. May their words and illustrations continue to inform, inspire, and make a difference in the school community.

School Intruder Response Drill 🚨

Safety begins with preparedness.

On July 31, 2026, our school, in collaboration with the Dipaculao PNP Team, conducted a School Intruder Response Drill to enhance the awareness and preparedness of our learners, teachers, and school personnel in responding to the presence of an unauthorized individual within the school premises.

During the drill, everyone was reminded of the three essential actions to follow:

πŸ”’ HIDE – Stay out of sight, remain silent, and wait for further instructions.
πŸƒ RUN – If a safe escape route is available, leave the area immediately and proceed to a secure location.
πŸ“’ REPORT – Inform your teacher, school authorities, or the nearest police officer as soon as it is safe to do so.

Preparedness is not about expecting dangerβ€”it is about knowing how to respond when every second matters. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Dipaculao PNP Team for sharing their expertise and guiding us through this valuable activity. Together, we continue to build a culture of safety, awareness, and responsibility within our school community.
