Roosevelt National High School (RNHS) proudly acknowledges the generous support extended by the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist – Bataan through the provision of agricultural tools and supplies under the National Urban and Peri-Urban Agriculture Program (NUPAP) for FY 2026 Regular Progress.

The distribution took place at the Palayan ng Bayan, Barangay Pantingan, Pilar, Bataan, as part of the continuing initiative to support farmers and promote sustainable agricultural activities in urban and peri-urban areas of Central Luzon.

Roosevelt National High School was among the selected beneficiaries and received the following agricultural tools and materials:

- 4 Wheelbarrows
- 3 Shovels
- 2 Rakes
- 4 Plastic Mulching Films
- 7 Sprinklers
- 8 Pruning Shears
- 37 Seeding Trays

These resources will greatly contribute to the school's gardening and agricultural activities, providing learners with meaningful opportunities to develop practical skills in planting, crop production, environmental stewardship, and sustainable agriculture.

The school extends its sincere appreciation to the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist – Bataan for its continued commitment to supporting schools and communities through agricultural development programs.

RNHS likewise expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Officials of Roosevelt, headed by OIC Barangay Captain Aries Cordova, for their valuable support and assistance in this initiative.

Special recognition is also given to Ma'am Ericka Ronda, teacher of Roosevelt National High School, who selflessly coordinated the activity and, despite the suspension of classes, willingly gave her time and effort to travel to Pilar, Bataan to pick up and facilitate the receipt of the agricultural supplies for the school.

The school also extends its heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated non-teaching personnel, Kuya Bryan and Kuya Vernon, for generously assisting Ma'am Ericka in the retrieval and transport of the agricultural tools and supplies. Their willingness to extend their service even beyond regular school operations reflects their unwavering commitment to supporting the school and its programs.

This collective effort exemplifies the true spirit of bayanihan, teamwork, and dedication to service. Through the continued collaboration of government agencies, barangay officials, teachers, non-teaching personnel, and community stakeholders, Roosevelt National High School continues to strengthen its programs that provide learners with meaningful and practical learning experiences.

Together, we growβ€”not only crops, but also responsible, productive, and environmentally conscious learners.

2. Maging kalmado at matatag.

Barangay Education Chairman Leads Safety Inspection of Community-School Bridge Amid Continuous Heavy Rains

August 19, 2026 β€” Following several days of continuous heavy rainfall and overflowing waterways in the area, a vital footbridge connecting the local community to Roosevelt National High School underwent a critical safety assessment today.

The inspection was personally spearheaded by Barangay Education Chairman Councilor Alvin Cordova, who carefully assessed the physical condition of the bridge, including its structural components, retaining banks, and the surrounding waterways.

After the assessment, Councilor Cordova verified that the bridge remains safe for passage. This assurance provides parents, teachers, learners, and other stakeholders with greater confidence and peace of mind as they use the bridge despite the continuing rainy conditions.

Recognizing the need for long-term safety and resilience, proactive measures are already being initiated to strengthen the structure and protect it against possible damage caused by future heavy rains and flooding.

This coming Friday, the School Principal of Roosevelt National High School will attend the official barangay session to formally request OIC Barangay Captain Aries Cordova for necessary structural improvements, including the reinforcement of the bridge’s foundation and other measures deemed essential to ensure the continued safety of the community and the school.

The school expresses its appreciation to Councilor Alvin Cordova and the barangay officials for their prompt attention, concern, and commitment to the safety and welfare of the school community.

Heroes in Cyan: How Roosevelt National High School Is Championing an Anti-Bullying Revolution
In high school hallways across the globe, silence is often the loudest indicator of distress. Fear of social retaliation, feeling isolated, or believing that "nobody can help" frequently keeps students from speaking up when they experience or witness bullying.
To break this cycle, Roosevelt National High School has launched a dynamic visual advocacy campaign titled "Hero in Everyone." Combining futuristic superhero imagery with real-world school settings, the initiative aims to redefine what it truly means to be brave on campus.
Reimagining Bullying Prevention: The Power of Visual Storytelling
At the center of the campaign is Cyra, a guardian figure clad in glowing cyan armor. She represents protection, integrity, and the inner strength present within every student.
Rather than relying on traditional, text-heavy flyers or standard lectures, the campaign uses short, action-packed narrative clips. Set directly within familiar school spacesβ€”such as classrooms, locker corridors, and the flagpole courtyardβ€”the videos portray realistic student interactions transformed by timely intervention.
The Campaign's Core Narrative
1. The Silent Struggle: Students encounter common forms of bullying, including verbal harassment and stolen property, leaving them feeling isolated.
2. Empowered Intervention: Cyra steps in, using her powers to block harassment, return taken items, and introduce official support tools like the DepEd Anti-Bullying Manual.
3. Student Unity: Inspired by this protection, students gain the confidence to stand by one another, walk together to guidance counselors, and report incidents directly to teachers.
4. A United Campus: The narrative culminates in the main courtyard, where the entire student body stands together in solidarity.
Moving From Bystanders to Upstanders
A central goal of the campaign is to shift student culture from passive observation to active support. In many bullying scenarios, bystanders hesitate to intervene out of fear or uncertain expectations.
By framing reporting not as "tattling," but as an act of genuine heroism, the campaign encourages students to take immediate, constructive action whenever they see a peer in need.

The Core Campaign Slogan

⚑ β€œMAGSALITA. TUMULONG. AT MAGING BAYANI.” > (Speak up. Help. Be a hero.)

Magsabi sa g**o at ’wag manahimik. (Report to teachers and do not stay silent.) > * STOP BULLYING. BE KIND. > * No bullying in Roosevelt National High School!

Building a Safer School Community
Through the "Hero in Everyone" campaign, Roosevelt National High School sets a strong precedent for modern anti-bullying advocacy. By blending engaging digital content with actionable advice, the school reinforces a simple, powerful truth: every student has the power to protect their peers and keep their campus safe #
