The Summer Booster Orientation will be held on June 8, 2026 (Monday) 8 AM, at the ILSHS Quadrangle.

All Summer Booster students are required to attend the program. Important details, including room assignments and other reminders, will be discussed during the orientation.

𝗦𝗶𝗸𝗟𝗮𝗯 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗜𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝗟𝗦𝗛𝗦

ILSHS Quadrangle | The ILSHS Quadrangle was filled with curiosity, creativity, and innovation as the Integrated Laboratory Science High School hosted SikLab 2026: A Science Research Exhibit on May 19, 2026.

Under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Jiezel A. Fabella and Asst. Prof. Meldred O. Baguio-Sorbito, the event served as a meaningful platform for young researchers from Grade 9-Galilei, Grade 9-Harvey, Grade 10-Mendeleev, and Grade 10-Aristotle to showcase studies that connect scientific inquiry, practical solutions, and community relevance.

The exhibit was evaluated by a distinguished panel of research evaluators composed of Mr. Ahmadrasol A. Sam, Asst. Prof. Jesel G. Alum, Asst. Prof. Always A. Germo, and Mr. Datulabi P. Untong Jr. The entries were judged based on methodology, impact, creativity, and presentation.

SikLab 2026 proved to be more than just an academic activity. It was a testament to the power of student-led research in addressing real-world problems. Moreover, the event underscored a simple truth: the future of Philippine science is bright, innovative, and already hard at work.

Asst. Prof. Fabella, in her closing statement, congratulated all participants, research advisers, and panel members, emphasizing that research is not merely an academic requirement. It is a flame—SikLab—that should continue to burn in every student’s pursuit of truth and progress.

The Integrated Laboratory Science High School successfully conducted its Miting de Avance and Student Body Council Election on May 25, 2026.

The activity provided student-leaders the opportunity to present their platforms, plans, and advocacies before the student body, while also giving learners the chance to participate in a meaningful democratic process.

The graduating class of the Integrated Laboratory Science High School presented their thesis studies through a research poster exhibit held on May 15, 2026, at the ILSHS Quadrangle.

The exhibit was evaluated by Prof. Shahida Lintang, Ms. Leonela Bai Untong, and Ms. Fatnahada Sha, all from the Natural Science Department of the College of Arts and Sciences.

The studies featured a wide range of topics, from water quality assessments to the development of alternative feeds, highlighting the students’ creativity, scientific inquiry, and commitment to research-based solutions.
