UP SURP is proud to share that Dean Dina C. Magnaye is a recipient of the 2025-2027 One UP Professorial Chair Award. This award is given to faculty members who demonstrate outstanding performance in two out of three work areas: teaching, research or creative work, and public service.

This recognition affirms the School’s continuing commitment to academic excellence, scholarly leadership, and public service. Dean Magnaye’s achievement reflects UP SURP’s dedication to advancing teaching, research, and practice in urban and regional planning in the service of the University and the nation.

Violence often begins quietly: in unnoticed dismissals, unspoken expectations, and boundaries assumed to be ours to peel. Every act of inaction allows harm to fester, invisible yet potent.
