The campus is extremely big, and there are a lot of ways to get from Point A to B. We want you to beat that grace period and still be fresh, so here are the shortest routes to your courses.

WHICH IS WHICH?

You might know where you should be going, but do you know what your destination looks like? It's quite easy to mistake buildings in UP Diliman for one another, so we took the time to mix and match your freshman year subjects with the respective buildings. We also prepared some useful pointers for you to be able to tell which jeep is which as you go around the campus. Photos come with descriptions!

VISION AND MISSION

The project aims to provide incoming BS Industrial Engineering (BS IE) freshmen with pertinent information to help them in navigating their way through the vast campus and comfortably getting to their classes during the possibly anxiety-inducing college adjustment phase. At the heart of this initiative, the proponents have identified the prescribed academic load for 1st year IE students as well as the probable locations where these courses would be held. The most efficient routes for walking were evaluated based on total distances, while the most advisable commuting options were decided on with projected travel time in mind. FreshIE Knows is a student-run initiative in partial fulfillment of the course requirements of Civic Welfare Training Service 2 (CWTS 2) under the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research of the University of the Philippines Diliman. Group #13 composed of Sean Alino, Daniela Atega, Frances Festejo, Mae Iguiron, Emmerson Isip, Niegel Ocampo, Ar-Jay Ramos, and Liza Rosales is spearheading this effort.
