We have successfully handed over all your book donations from our Literacy Week Book Drive (Sept 7–11, 2026) to the Barangay UP Campus Children’s Library.

Head Librarian John Marvin Torre Canceran and Kagawad Warren Mau Gloria personally received the collection, which will surely spark curiosity and a love for reading among the neighborhood's young readers.

We were privileged to have the UP Resilience Institute (UPRI) conduct an Earthquake Preparedness Training for the teachers and staff of PAUW-UP CSC last Friday, July 24, 2026. During the session, UPRI shared its assessment of our Earthquake Plan and provided valuable insights on how we can further strengthen and communicate our preparedness plans to parents. They also offered recommendations on how we can improve our infrastructure to make it more disaster-ready.

The training also helped our teachers and staff learn how to introduce the concept of disaster preparedness to children in age-appropriate and engaging ways, including the use of play-based approaches when teaching earthquake preparedness.

We also had the opportunity to meet the team behind the NOAH Studio app and explore its updated features. We highly encourage you to download the app to assess your area’s risk for floods, landslides, and storm surges, learn what steps you can take to stay prepared, and discover its other helpful features.

The PAUW-UP Child Study Center held its annual Basic First Aid Training on July 17, 2026, at the main campus. The session was led by Nurse Lauro W. Reyes Jr. of the University Health Service (UHS), together with fellow nurses Maribeth S. Paraiso, Tenny C. Rosco, and Elma Silleza.

Participants learned essential skills for responding to emergency situations—knowledge that is especially important in their daily care for children. The training helped equip the staff with the skills and confidence needed to create a safer environment for the students.

Special thanks to UHS Director Dr. Olivia Basuel, who is also a PAUW member, for making this event possible. We also extend our appreciation to our Chief Operating Officer, Atty. Cynthia Nuval, whose initiative and continued support help ensure that our teachers and staff are well-prepared to care for the students.

May 27 (Wednesday) is declared a national holiday in observance of Eid’l Adha. In line with this, the submission of printouts of Proof of Payment, and Payment Agreement Form originally scheduled for that day will be moved to May 28 (Thursday). The continuation of the release of the Developmental Checklists will also take place on May 28.
