Dilasag NHS Extends Historic District Meet Dominance

DILASAG, AURORA - Dilasag National High School once again emerged as the District Meet 2026 Champion, continuing its remarkable championship streak since the District Meet in Dilasag District began.

Dilasag NHS dominated the competition with 87 gold, 30 silver, and 21 bronze medals, proving the school’s continued excellence in sports.

Sir Charles D. Friginal, Principal of Dilasag NHS, praised the athletes and coaches for their dedication.

“This achievement reflects the hard work, discipline, and commitment of our athletes and coaches. We are very proud of them.”

Meanwhile, Ma’am Lioneda V. Marzan, Sports Coordinator, highlighted the teamwork behind the victory.

“This championship belongs to the whole Dilasag NHS family. Our athletes and coaches showed discipline, determination, and teamwork. We are truly proud of their achievement.”

With another championship secured, Dilasag NHS continues its winning tradition and remains the District Meet Champion.

TODAY|| 📰 Dilasag NHS School-Based Press Conference 2026

A total of 97 student journalists participated in the Dilasag National High School School-Based Press Conference, showcasing their talents and passion for journalism while preparing for higher-level competitions.

Our heartfelt gratitude to our resource speakers, Sir Cromwell C. Rigornia and Ma’am Angelove T. Padua, for sharing their knowledge and inspiring our young journalists.

Special thanks to the SSLG and YES-O, headed by Ma’am Zenaida D. Agub, together with Sir Roy P. Rasca and Sir Benjamin G. Torres, for the beautiful decoration and physical arrangement of the venue.

We also extend our appreciation to our energetic Emcee, Sir Louie Reyes, for keeping the program lively and engaging throughout the event.

Our sincere thanks as well to our event encoders, Sir Emey Trucilla and Ma’am Anna May Salazar, and to our facilitators Sir Roy P. Rasca, Ma’am Arlene Ligas, Ma’am Rochel Bringas, Sir Limmuel A. Rubio, Ma’am Melody Anne Alonzo, and Ma’am Karen Moises for ensuring the smooth conduct of the activity.

To ensure that learning continued uninterrupted, all participants were provided with advance learning modules by their respective subject teachers, allowing them to keep up with their academic responsibilities while participating in the conference.
