𝐀 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐲 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 𝐃𝐂𝐉𝐄 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭’𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞

The 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗗𝗖𝗝𝗘) 𝗼𝗳 𝗨𝗠 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 paid a courtesy visit to the President’s Office on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, following its outstanding performance in the 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗖𝗟𝗘).

Representing the DCJE were its department heads, 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝘇𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗟𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗹𝗼, together with 𝗩𝗣–𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗗𝗿. 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗲 𝗚. 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘀. They were warmly received by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗘𝘂𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼 𝗦. 𝗚𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗼, 𝗝𝗿., 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀, who formally presented the recognition award to the department.

The recognition was given in honor of UM Digos College’s two licensure examination topnotchers, J𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗱𝗲𝘅 𝗘𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗦. 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗼, 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝟵𝟯.𝟬𝟱%, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝘃𝘆 𝗠. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮, 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝟵𝟮.𝟴𝟬%.

A cheque was also presented in recognition of their exceptional achievement, marking a proud moment for the DCJE and the entire UM Digos College community.

The occasion highlighted the department’s commitment to academic excellence and its continuing efforts to prepare competent and accomplished criminology professionals. The achievement of Villarico and Marga further reflects the collective dedication of the students, faculty, and administrators who continue to uphold excellence in criminology education.

The 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗗𝗖𝗝𝗘) 𝗼𝗳 𝗨𝗠 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 was recognized for its remarkable achievement in the 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗖𝗟𝗘) through the awarding of incentives to its outstanding topnotchers on September 21, 2026.

The awarding was attended by DCJE Heads 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝘇𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗟𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗹𝗼, together with 𝗩𝗣–𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗗𝗿. 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗲 𝗚. 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘀. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗘𝘂𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼 𝗦. 𝗚𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗼, 𝗝𝗿., 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀, formally presented the incentives in recognition of the department’s exceptional licensure examination performance.

The incentives were awarded in honor of two UM Digos College graduates who earned spots among the country’s top performers in the August 2026 CLE. 𝗝𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘅 𝗘𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗦. 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗼 placed Top 5 with a rating of 𝟵𝟯.𝟬𝟱%, while 𝗥𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝘃𝘆 𝗠. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮 secured Top 8 with a rating of 𝟵𝟮.𝟴𝟬%.

The awarding of incentives celebrates not only the accomplishments of the two topnotchers but also the collective efforts of the DCJE faculty and the institution in providing quality education and preparing students for professional excellence.

This achievement adds another significant milestone to UM Digos College’s growing record of licensure examination success, reflecting its continued commitment to developing competent, dedicated, and service-oriented criminology professionals.

IN PHOTOS | 1ST DAY DEPLOYMENT OF CRIMINOLOGY INTERNS

UM Digos College, Department of Criminal Justice Education officially commenced the 1st Day Deployment of Criminology Interns, marking the beginning of their practical training and field exposure as future law enforcement professionals.

On this day, the criminology interns were accompanied and deployed by department's respective faculty members to their assigned stations and partner agencies, Digos City Police Station, Digos City Fire Station, Digos City District Jail-Male Dormitory, Digos City District Jail-Female Dormitory, CIDG-Davao del Sur Field Unit, Digos City Parole and Probation Office, City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and Barangay Dawis Digos City where they will undergo hands-on learning and gain valuable experience in the actual field of criminology and law enforcement.

The deployment serves as an important step in bridging classroom learning with real-world experiences. Through discipline, professionalism, dedication, and commitment to service, the interns are expected to uphold the values and standards of the University of Mindanao while performing their duties in their respective areas of assignment.

May this new chapter of their internship journey be filled with meaningful experiences, valuable lessons, and opportunities to grow as competent and responsible future criminologists. 🫡
