Igpit National High School Alumni

The Igpit National High School Alumni Association President Jay Aldeguer and Vice President Irene Albano took part in the recent General Assembly Meeting and Recognition Day, marking another meaningful milestone in strengthening the connection between alumni, the school, and the community.

During the event, the Alumni Association formally turned over the Alumni Fund amounting to ₱11,000 to the School Administration and the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). The turnover was conducted with a strong emphasis on accountability and transparency, reflecting the organization’s commitment to responsible stewardship of funds raised through collective efforts.

The successful fundraising initiative was made possible through the dedication and cooperation of the Alumni Officers, with significant support of host Batch 2012. The said batch played a key role in organizing and hosting the recent Alumni Homecoming, which served as the primary platform for generating the fund.

The Alumni Association also expressed its sincere appreciation to all alumni batches, donors, sponsors, and volunteers who contributed to the success of the fundraising activity. Their generosity and continued support highlight a shared commitment to giving back and supporting the development of their alma mater.

Gratitude was likewise extended to the School head Julius Castañares, teachers both past and present, whose guidance and dedication have greatly influenced generations of students. Their lasting impact continues to inspire alumni to remain engaged in initiatives that promote service, leadership, and community involvement.

More than a financial contribution, the turnover of the Alumni Fund symbolizes the spirit of bayanihan, unity, and the enduring bond among graduates of Igpit National High School. It stands as a reminder of what can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared purpose, and it encourages continued participation in future programs and initiatives for the betterment of the school.

The Igpit National High School Alumni Homecoming 2026 was more than just a gathering, it was a powerful celebration of memories, gratitude, unity, and service.

From heartfelt reunions and shared laughter, to stories rekindled and friendships renewed, the night reminded us why Igpit National High School will always be home. The presence of our beloved Ma’am and Sir, our school head and administrators, barangay officials, and alumni from different batches made the celebration even more special and meaningful.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to all alumni from various batches who chose to come home despite busy schedules. To our teachers, past and present, thank you for the strong foundation you built in us, your lessons continue to guide our lives beyond the classroom. To our school head, administration, and barangay officials, your unwavering support made this gathering possible. To the Host Batch 2012 and the dedicated organizing committees, your commitment, leadership, and hard work brought this vision to life. And to our sponsors, partners, and volunteers, thank you for your generosity and selfless service.

This homecoming proved one timeless truth, time may pass, but our connection as INH alumni never fades. It strengthened our collective commitment to give back, to support our alma mater, and to continue building a stronger, more united alumni community for the next generations of Igpit National High School.

TIKTOK CONTEST GUIDELINES
Theme: “Balik-Tanaw, Pagpasalamat, ug Paghatag-Serbisyo”
Event Date: January 24, 2026
Venue: Igpit National High School, Digos City

OBJECTIVE
The TikTok Contest aims to bring excitement and creativity among alumni while promoting the upcoming Alumni Homecoming 2026. It’s a fun way to relive memories, show batch pride, and invite everyone to come home to INHS!

MECHANICS
The contest is open to all Igpit National High School Alumni (Batches 2008–2025).
Each batch must submit one (1) official entry as a group
TikTok videos must feature the theme “Balik-Tanaw, Pagpasalamat, ug Paghatag-Serbisyo.”

You may showcase:
Throwback photos or clips from your high school days
Batch achievements or memories
Creative dances, skits, or thank-you messages for teachers and classmates

Video length: Minimum of 30 seconds, maximum of 5 minutes.
Submit your video to [email protected] on or before December 6, 2025.

JUDGING CRITERIA
All entries will be posted to the page of Igpit National High School Alumni association.
The winning entry will be determined based on Facebook engagement:
Reactions (Like, Heart, etc.) – 50%
Shares – 50%
Note: Only reactions and shares on the official post uploaded by the Alumni Association page will be counted.
