New 2-Storey 8-Classroom School Building Officially Handed Over to Goma National High School
A new 2-storey 8-classroom school building worth P28,388,873.66 was officially handed over to Goma National High School during a turnover ceremony held on March 6, 2026.
The building is part of the government's education infrastructure projects aimed at improving school facilities nationwide.
Attendees included Congressman Manong John Tracy Cagas, Mayor Josef Cagas, City Councilors Liza Cagas, Michael Latasa, and King Latasa, DepEd officials SDS Melanie Estacio and ASDS Maria Genevieve Francisquete, DPWH representatives, and local officials.
The building is expected to provide a better learning environment for students and teachers.
Officials stated that this project provides quality education and addresses classroom shortages.
βEducation is the key to a brighter future, and I'm proud to support initiatives that improve our schools,"said Mayor Josef Cagas.
Moreover, Congressman John Tracy assured that he will continue to support projects that provide quality learning environments to all learners.
The ceremony included a mass, ribbon-cutting, and a turnover program with speeches from officials.

In accordance with DM-OSDS-2026-028, request for retention or updating of points for Teacher I applicants (SY 2025-2026) shall be submitted, together with the necessary documents (if any), using the attached Letter of Intent Form for retention/update.
β’ For retention of points, the submission of a Letter of Intent shall suffice. No additional or supporting documents are required for this purpose.
β’ For updating of points, a letter of intent must be accompanied by the relevant documents requiring update.
