The 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 (CBEG) of Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) successfully held its 𝘾𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘾𝘽𝙀𝙂 𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙮: 𝙋𝙚𝙙𝙖𝙜𝙤𝙜𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 last August 28–29, 2026, in Samal, Davao del Norte.

The two-day activity brought the CBEG faculty together for meaningful conversations, learning, and reflection on the different roles they play as educators and leaders.

The training officially opened with the opening remarks delivered by Dr. Zandro P. Ibañez, who welcomed everyone and highlighted the importance of continuously developing ourselves as educators and professionals.

The participants then engaged in a discussion on Pedagogy through the AUN-QA perspective, facilitated by Dr. Michelle A. Alcebar, followed by an insightful session on Leadership and Conflict Management led by Prof. Roy M. Molina. Both sessions encouraged the faculty to reflect on their teaching practices, leadership roles, and the ways they respond to challenges within the academic community.

The second day gave the participants an opportunity to present their outputs and share what they had learned throughout the training.

The gathering also became a special occasion for CBEG as the College welcomed three new members to its growing community: Ms. Mitzi Daryl Baba and Ms. Cydeah Aldic J. Conchas, who joined the College as instructors, and Mr. Reymark Puracan, who joined as an administrative staff member.

The two-day activity was a reminder that professional growth is a continuous journey. As educators and members of the academic community, there is always something new to learn, something to improve, and something meaningful to contribute.

With strengthened skills, renewed perspectives, and new members joining the team, CBEG continues to move forward, growing together and working together toward better education and better service.
