𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐒, the City of Digos, Province of Davao del Sur will celebrate its creation as a municipality throught the Padigosan Festival on 19 July 2025, which falls on a Saturday;

𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐒, to enable the people of the City of Digos to fully participate in the occasion, the Office of the Mayor requested that 18 July 2025, Friday, be declared as a special (non-working) day in lieu of 19 July 2025;

𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐒, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Digos be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Friday, 18 July 2025, a special (non-working) day in the City of Digos, Province of Davao del Sur.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Students who have outstanding 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐧𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (as per each department) will face appropriate consequences, which may include sanctions or assigned community service.
