Today, August 5, 2026, the Director for Instruction participated in the FY 2027 Budget Hearing, presenting the Office's proposed programs, projects, activities, and budget requirements for the coming fiscal year.

The activity served as a vital platform to ensure that budget proposals are aligned with the College's strategic priorities, operational needs, and commitment to quality education. Through careful planning and responsible resource allocation, DSSC continues to strengthen its initiatives in support of academic excellence and institutional development.

Today, August 3, 2026, the Director for Instruction, Dr. Amelie E. Trinidad, joined the College President and the College Deans in a strategic meeting to discuss the institution's continuing journey toward Universityhood, along with other key academic priorities that will shape the future of our college.

Every meaningful conversation, strategic decision, and collaborative effort brings us one step closer to realizing our vision of becoming a premier university, committed to excellence, innovation, quality education, and transformative leadership.

The Director for Instruction, together with the Quality Assurance (QA) team, internal evaluators, BSIT faculty, and the Dean, successfully conducted the Internal Evaluation for AACCUP Accreditation of the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program on May 4, 2026, as part of the institution’s continuing commitment to quality assurance and academic excellence.

This activity aimed to assess the program’s compliance with accreditation standards, identify areas for improvement, and further strengthen the delivery of quality IT education for our students.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all involved for their active participation, collaboration, and dedication, which contributed to the success of this important undertaking.
