Demonstrating the true spirit of Bayanihan and environmental stewardship, Igpit National High School successfully conducted a School-Wide Clean-Up Drive yesterday from 3:30 PM to 4:10 PM. Spearheaded by the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), the activity brought together all student organizations and club officers, who actively participated in cleaning and beautifying the entire school campus.

This collaborative initiative reflects the school's commitment to promoting cleanliness, environmental responsibility, and teamwork among student leaders.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our supportive School Principal, Sir Julius C. Castañares, for his unwavering leadership and encouragement.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to all organization coordinators and club moderators for their guidance and support in making this activity a success.

The YES-O of Igpit NHS held an environmental awareness activity during the BSP-GSP camporal last November 8-10, 2024.

Decluttering seashore: Cleaning human footprints

Digos City, September 21, 2024— Hundreds of volunteers came together at the Coastal Area of Brgy. Aplaya this weekend for a coastal cleanup drive, removing tons of plastic and debris from the shoreline. Organized by City Environment and Natural Resources Officer (CENRO), in celebration for the International Coastal Clean-up (ICC), the event aimed to reduce marine pollution and protect local wildlife.

Participants collected single-use plastics, and other waste. Organizers emphasized the importance of keeping beaches clean and raising awareness about ocean conservation.

The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization of Igpit National High School participated the said event together with the DFSSLG teacher and student officer.

Together, we can let the ocean breathe and declog.
