Digos City Senior High School continues to strengthen its commitment to the well-being of both teachers and learners through the conduct of Psychological First Aid (PFA) training and sessions for educators.

This initiative equips our teachers with the knowledge and skills to provide emotional support, promote resilience, and respond effectively to the psychosocial needs of learners during challenging situations. By empowering educators, we create a safer, more caring, and supportive learning environment where everyone can thrive.

Together, we build a school community that values mental health, compassion, and holistic development.

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT: CLASSES WILL RESUME TOMORROW!

To all students, parents, teachers, and staff of
Digos City Senior High School, we are pleased to announce that classes will officially resume tomorrow, June 11, 2026.

After the completion of the necessary safety assessments and inspections, our school has been cleared for regular operations. The school facilities have been evaluated and confirmed SAFE FOR OCCUPANCY, ensuring a secure environment for everyone.

Regular class schedules will be followed. Students are encouraged to come prepared and ready for learning as we continue the school year. We sincerely thank everyone for your patience, cooperation, and understanding during the suspension period. Your support has been greatly appreciated.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to campus tomorrow. See you, DCSHS students! Let's make the rest of the week productive and successful.

𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗢 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 | 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗶𝗱 (𝗣𝗙𝗔)

Despite the temporary class suspension following the recent earthquake, Grade 11 and Grade 12 learners actively participated in a Psychological First Aid (PFA) session as part of the Opening Block Activities under the HINTO Initiative.

The session provided learners with a safe and supportive environment where they could express their thoughts and emotions, share their experiences, and receive guidance on positive coping strategies. Through meaningful discussions and reflection activities, learners were encouraged to strengthen their resilience and prioritize their mental and emotional well-being during this challenging time.

This activity highlights the continued commitment to fostering a caring and supportive learning environment where learners feel heard, valued, and empowered to navigate challenges with confidence and resilience.

Today our school got inspected from DepEd Division, City Engineering Office, and DPWH and we got clearances with minor repairs for both bldg 1 and 2.

Bldg 3 (2nd and 3rd floor) and the Science and ICT bldg is restricted for usage.

In response to the recent earthquake experienced yesterday, Digos City Senior High School conducted an Online Psychological First Aid (PFA) Session for our learners.

This initiative aimed to provide emotional support, promote mental well-being, and help learners process their thoughts and feelings following the earthquake. Through the guidance of our dedicated teachers, students were given a safe space to share their experiences, express their concerns, and learn positive coping strategies.

We remain committed to ensuring not only the physical safety of our learners but also their emotional and psychological well-being during challenging times.

Together, we stay strong, resilient, and ready to support one another.
