𝟐𝟔𝐓𝐇 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐑 𝐁𝐎𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐒 𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 (𝟐𝐍𝐃 𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐄𝐑) 𝐂𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The Davao del Sur State College Supreme Student Council, through its Student Trustee, participated in the 2026 2nd Quarter Regular Board of Trustees Meeting held on July 22, 2026.

The meeting served as an important avenue to deliberate institutional matters, policy directions, and decisions that contribute to the continued advancement of the College and the welfare of its stakeholders.

It also reaffirmed the importance of student representation in institutional governance through ensuring that the voices, interests, and aspirations of the student body remain part of the decision-making process.

With immense pride and confidence, we congratulate 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐉𝐨𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨, President of the DSSC-Supreme Student Council for Academic Year 2026–2027, on taking her oath as the newly appointed Student Trustee of the Davao del Sur State College Board of Trustees for AY 2026–2027.

As the Student Trustee, Hon. Pardillo assumes one of the highest responsibilities entrusted to a student leader, serving as the official bridge between the student body and the College's highest governing body. In this vital role, she will actively participate in Board of Trustees meetings, champion the interests and welfare of every DSSCian, provide meaningful student perspectives in institutional decision-making, and ensure that the voices of the students are heard where it matters most.

May your journey as Student Trustee inspire every DSSCian to believe that leadership is not merely about holding a title, but about carrying the hopes of many with integrity, courage, and purpose.

The Davao del Sur State College successfully held its 24th Regular Board of Trustees (BOT) Meeting through a hybrid setup at CHED QC, the DSSC Board Room, and via Zoom for all Regional Directors.

The Office of the Student Trustee extends its deepest gratitude to our beloved Trustees for a productive and meaningful 2025, marked by shared commitment, collaboration, and sound governance for the DSSC community.

On July 17, 2025, during the 22nd Regular Board of Trustees Meeting of Davao del Sur State College held at Bukidnon State University, 𝑯𝒐𝒏. 𝑨𝒍𝒆𝒚𝒂 𝑵𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒆 𝑵𝒂𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒂 our very own Supreme Student Council President, officially took her oath as the 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑻𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒆 of DSSC!

Alongside Hon. Andrew Felix Iv Cunanan (Faculty Trustee), Hon. Nayona joins the esteemed members of the Governing Board in representing the student body with dedication, integrity, and purpose. Her presence marks a renewed spirit of student leadership at the institutional level.

The meeting was presided over by Commissioner Desiderio R. Apag III, DSSC Chairperson-Designate, and was attended by key board members, including CHED RO XI Director Maricar Casquejo. Key academic developments such as the new graduate program and enhanced BSEd curricula were discussed, shaping a promising future for DSSC learners.

The Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) Board of Trustees (BOT) successfully held its 21st Regular Meeting (1st Quarter, CY 2025) on March 24, 2025, at the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Central Office at Diliman, Quezon City. This session marked the first meeting presided over by CHED Commissioner Desiderio R. Apag III as Chairperson of the DSSC BOT, alongside DSSC President Dr. Augie E. Fuentes as Vice-Chairperson.

Among the highlights of the meeting was the election of Dr. Delia T. Ayano, President of Davao del Sur Bamboo Industry Development Council, as the Private Sector Representative, further strengthening the board’s leadership. Discussions focused on enhancing institutional governance, operational efficiency, and strategic development to further DSSC’s mission in higher education.

Student Trustee Jino R. Dayanan was among the board members in attendance, ensuring that student representation remained integral to the discussions.

With renewed leadership and a shared vision for academic excellence, DSSC remains steadfast in its commitment to educational advancement and institutional progress.
