Aprubado na sa Malacañang ang batas na Republic Act No. 11982 o Amendments to Centerian Act ngayong Lunes, February 26. Isa si Senator B**g Go sa co-author at co-sponsor habang principal sponsor naman si Senator Imee Marcos.

Ngayong naisabatas na ito, makakatanggap ng karagdagang cash gift ang ating senior citizens. PhP10,000 para sa 80 years old, PhP10,000 para sa 85 years old, PhP10,000 para sa 90 years old, at PhP10,000 para sa 95 years old. Bukod pa ito sa 100k na matatanggap nila pag-abot ng 100 years old.

Para kay Senator B**g Go, anuman ang halaga, maaari itong magsilbing inspirasyon sa ating mga lolo at lola na maging positibo sa kanilang pananaw at makakatulong ito sa pagpapa-unlad pa ng kanilang katayuan.
