Following the lifting of the class suspension issued by the Digos City Government, classes at Kapatagan National High School will officially resume on June 11, 2026.

We continue our regular in-person teaching and learning activities under the HAYO-Continue , with teachers utilizing full lesson guides to ensure complete curriculum delivery and meaningful student engagement.

Our priority remains maintaining ideal conditions where learners and teachers are physically safe, emotionally regulated, and cognitively ready for sustained learning, while families and the community continue to function normally to support this educational continuity.

Despite the suspension of face-to-face classes due to the earthquake, learning continues online. 💻📚

Kapatagan National High School is officially declared safe for use following a thorough inspection conducted by the City Engineering Office on June 10, 2026, in the aftermath of the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Mindanao.

After carefully assessing all school buildings and facilities, the engineering team has stamped and certified the structures as structurally sound and free from critical damage.

HINGA. Following the extended suspension of classes ordered by the City Government of Digos due to the recent earthquake in Mindanao, our school prioritizes the overall well-being of every learner. Beyond academics, we will focus on assessing and supporting their physical safety, psychological state, and social-emotional health.

To provide proper guidance and support, our school guidance counselor will conduct psychological debriefing sessions starting at 9:00-10:30 AM for JHS , 1:00- 2:30 PM for SHs on June 10, 2027, to help everyone process their experience and recover with peace of mind.

Despite the temporary class suspension following the recent earthquake, Grade 10–Falcon successfully conducted its online Psychosocial Support Session as part of the Opening Block Activities aligned with the HINTO Initiative. Learners actively participated in Activity 1: My Resilience Tree and Activity 2: Safe Space Drawing, providing meaningful opportunities to reflect on their strengths, sources of support, and places where they feel secure and at peace.🌱💙

Beyond the lessons, today was about listening, understanding, and reconnecting. Through student profiling and psychosocial activities, I had the opportunity to check on my learners, hear their experiences, and ensure their well-being after yesterday's earthquake. Building resilient hearts and minds starts with genuine care. 💙📚
