Through collaborative discussions, sharing of best practices, and innovative teaching strategies, we strengthened our commitment to creating engaging and learner-centered classrooms that equip students with the skills they need for lifelong success.

🌱 CLEAN-UP DRIVE | October 8, 2026 🌱

Together, we make a difference!

The School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM), in collaboration with the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) and the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) of Kapatagan National High School, successfully conducted a Clean-Up Drive on October 8, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM within the school premises.

This activity aimed to promote environmental awareness, cleanliness, teamwork, and disaster preparedness among students. Through our collective efforts, we continue to create a cleaner, safer, and healthier learning environment for everyone.

Thanks to our School Head Aimee Amor Porto for supporting this activity and also to all volunteers, student leaders, who participated and supported this meaningful activity. Together, we prove that small actions can lead to big changes for our school and community.

Kapatagan National High School continues its commitment to promoting the health, nutrition, and well-being of its learners through the Wednesday Feeding Program and project BUSOG. This week’s feeding activity provided a nutritious fried chicken meal to learners identified as wasted and severely wasted, helping address their nutritional needs and support their active participation in learning.

Through the Wednesday Feeding Program, we nourish not only their bodies but also their strength, confidence, and readiness to learn.

Together, let us strengthen our commitment to ensuring that every learner is well-nourished, healthy, and ready to learn. Through sustained support and collective action, we can contribute to building a healthier and more resilient school community.

📣 KAPATAGAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL JOINS THE LAUNCHING OF DEPED DIGOS CITY DIVISION SAFE360° CONNECT AND PROTECT

In support of the launching of DepEd Digos City Division SAFE360° Connect and Protect, Kapatagan National High School conducted a school-level convergence aimed at strengthening the safety, protection, and well-being of every learner.

Under the leadership of our School Principal, Ma’am Aimee Amor C. Porto, who also serves as the Chairman of the Child Protection Committee, the activity brought together key school and community stakeholders, including representatives from the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, SPTA, teachers, different school program holders, the School Guidance Counselor, School Guidance Associate, and other members of the school safety network.

The convergence served as an avenue to review existing safety measures, strengthen coordination, clarify roles and responsibilities, and identify appropriate actions to ensure a safe, secure, supportive, and learner-friendly school environment.

Through strong collaboration among the school, parents, community partners, and safety agencies, Kapatagan National High School continues to uphold its commitment to the welfare and protection of all learners.

Student safety is a shared responsibility. Together, we CONNECT. Together, we PROTECT.
