The College of Mathematics, Arts, and Sciences (CMAS) successfully conducted a series of college visits to discuss and coordinate the revision of General Education (GE) subjects in preparation for implementing the new academic loading format.
The activity was spearheaded by Dean Kris Kristofferson T. Tan and Department Chairperson Prof. Carl Wayne S. Villarta. The visitation aimed to ensure that General Education courses were properly aligned with the updated curriculum structure, course coding, and faculty loading requirements.
During the meetings, discussions focused on revising and standardizing General Education subjects, allocating faculty, and implementing the new loading format across various colleges. The initiative also provided an avenue for collaboration among academic units to ensure consistency, compliance with institutional policies, and the efficient delivery of General Education courses.
The administration extends its appreciation to all deans, program heads, and faculty members for their active participation and valuable contributions toward the successful implementation of these academic enhancements. Their cooperation and commitment play a vital role in strengthening curriculum development and ensuring quality education for all students.
