One of the program's primary objectives was to enable students to apply the basic principles of web design by creating and enhancing webpage layouts. Participants demonstrated their understanding of website structure, navigation, typography, color combinations, spacing, images, and other user-friendly design elements. The activity provided students with practical opportunities to develop functional and visually appealing webpages.

The project also aimed to strengthen studentsโ€™ creativity, critical thinking, and digital skills through collaborative design tasks. Students from DSSC and NMU worked together in teams, exchanging ideas and insights as they solved web design challenges. This collaborative environment enhanced their communication and teamwork skills while fostering meaningful academic interactions.

Moreover, the program promoted cross-cultural learning and global awareness by encouraging participants to share perspectives, design styles, and web development practices from their respective countries. Through these exchanges, students gained a deeper appreciation of cultural diversity and international collaboration. The experience also helped prepare them for future digital careers by providing valuable exposure to web design, problem-solving, teamwork, freelancing opportunities, entrepreneurship, and employment-related skills.

A total of 76 undergraduate students from DSSC enrolled in the Global Trends and Foresight course participated in the program. They collaborated with 35 students from CSU Stanislaus enrolled in the Comparative World Women course under Gender Studies and History, most of whom were undergraduate juniors and seniors. The diverse group of participants contributed insights drawn from their respective academic disciplines and cultural backgrounds.

One of the primary objectives of the COIL project was to promote global citizenship and sustainability awareness through intercultural collaboration aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4, 16, and 17. The program also strengthened studentsโ€™ critical thinking skills by examining womenโ€™s evolving roles in leadership, employment, and gender equality from cross-country perspectives linked to SDGs 5 and 8. Through comparative analysis and discussions, students gained a broader understanding of global workforce systems and social transformation.

The culmination activity showcased studentsโ€™ outputs in trend analysis, scenario building, and forecasting exercises that explored the future of womenโ€™s leadership amid technological, economic, and social changes. Participants also developed innovative, policy-oriented recommendations to create equitable, future-ready opportunities for women while supporting SDGs 5, 8, and 17. The program further enhanced intercultural competence, teamwork, and global collaboration skills, reinforcing the value of international partnerships in higher education.

The virtual culmination featured an online film premiere, team reflections, project highlights, and a mentor feedback session that celebrated the studentsโ€™ collaborative achievements.

The program aimed to develop studentsโ€™ collaborative skills by engaging them in short film production within international online groups. Participants were also encouraged to apply creative and technical filmmaking skills such as scripting, directing, and editing while working in a virtual environment. Moreover, the project provided an opportunity for students to compare and discuss artistic learning journey, cultural similarities, and diverse perspectives with their international peers, strengthening global awareness and communication.

The project involved 40 students, including 22 from DSSC and 18 from AMU, divided into five groups composed of members from both institutions. Guiding the students throughout the program were mentors, Instr. Jarsey Krim A. Taub, Instr. Lou Danielle C. Lofranco, and Instr. Arnie B. Grajo from DSSC, alongside Prof. Adam Domalewski from AMU. Through the successful completion of the COIL project, the participating institutions demonstrated the value of international collaboration in education, proving that creativity and meaningful connections can thrive beyond geographical boundaries.
