𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒏𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒔. 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔. 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒅𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒔 𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒚, 𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒃𝒚 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆, 𝒔𝒂𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆.

Each of these individuals did not earn their place through comfort. They earned it through every exhausting formation, every command carried out with precision, every sleepless preparation, and every challenge that tested not only their strength, but also their character.

This class was never defined by numbers. For even a small unit can create a powerful legacy when united by one mission and one heart. A reminder that true leaders are not formed in easy moments, but in seasons of pressure, sacrifice, and perseverance.

You learned how to stand tall despite fatigue. You learned how to move forward despite fear. And above all, you learned that leadership is not about being above others, but about being willing to serve beside them.

The years behind you were filled with hardships that few will ever truly understand, yet those very struggles became the reason you now stand stronger, wiser, and more prepared for the responsibilities that await beyond the parade grounds.

May you never forget the lessons carved into your journey — the value of discipline when no one is watching, the importance of courage when the road becomes difficult, and the power of unity when everything seems impossible.

You are no longer simply cadets completing a chapter. You are leaders shaped by experience, strengthened by adversity, and prepared to leave footprints wherever duty may lead you.

The uniform may someday change, the formations may eventually end, but the honor of becoming a cadet will remain for a lifetime.

The 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗥𝗢𝗧𝗖 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 is set to conduct the 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 tomorrow, 16 May 2026, together with 𝗟𝗧𝗖 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗠 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗖𝗢𝗧𝗘 𝗜𝗡𝗙 (𝗚𝗦𝗖) 𝗣𝗔, 𝗠𝗣𝗔, Commandant.

As another training year comes to an end, this ceremony will serve as a celebration of discipline, perseverance, camaraderie, and commitment demonstrated by every cadet throughout their ROTC journey. It symbolizes not only the completion of training, but also the continuous development of future leaders dedicated to service and patriotism.

The Davao del Sur State College Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Unit warmly invites you to be part of the Provincial Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (PAATI) for Academic Year 2025–2026 on April 17, 2026 at 7:00 AM, to be held at Don Mariano Marcos Elementary School.

Digos City, Davao del Sur – In line with the 84th Anniversary of Araw ng Kagitingan, the 1101st Community Defense Center, under the 11th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army, conducts Lakad Kalayaan 2026 today, April 9, 2026.

The activity formally opens at 0600H with a flag-raising ceremony, establishing a solemn and patriotic atmosphere. This was then followed by a commemorative walk that highlights unity and collective remembrance of the bravery and sacrifices of Filipino heroes. The event is anchored on the theme, “𝐴𝑛𝑔 𝐵𝑎𝑤𝑎𝑡 𝐻𝑎𝑘𝑏𝑎𝑛𝑔 𝑃𝑎𝑠𝑢𝑙𝑜𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑦 𝑃𝑎𝑔𝑝𝑢𝑝𝑢𝑔𝑎𝑦 𝑠𝑎 𝑚𝑔𝑎 𝐻𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑖 𝐾𝑎𝑖𝑙𝑎𝑛𝑚𝑎𝑛 𝑈𝑚𝑢𝑟𝑜𝑛𝑔."

A wide range of agencies and organizations participate in the activity, including the 39th Infantry Battalion, 10ID, Philippine Army, Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), and the Veterans Federation of the Philippines (VFP), together with ROTC units from different academic institutions. The Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) likewise takes part in the event, showing its strong commitment to honoring and preserving the legacy of Filipino heroes.
