The Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Campaign Against Rabies was 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 by the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), aiming to 𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 the school community 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙧𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙩 𝙤𝙬𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙥𝙚𝙩 𝙫𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. Through this initiative, participants gained valuable knowledge on how rabies spreads, how it can be prevented, and what actions to take to protect both pets and people. 🐕🐾

This activity served as a reminder that 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐚 𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐞𝐬. By sharing knowledge and encouraging responsible actions, we take meaningful steps toward protecting public health and promoting animal welfare.

Digos City Senior High School officially launched 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙏𝙤𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙗𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙖𝙮 on February 2, 2026, led by Barkada Kontra Droga, with the active participation of our students. The activity highlighted the importance of proper oral hygiene and healthy daily habits.

The Launching of the National Toothbrushing Day will be held tomorrow, Monday, 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 2, 2026, 𝐚𝐭 7:40 𝐀𝐌, right after the Flag Raising Ceremony. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in this school-wide health activity.
