HOW TO BE UNSTOPPABLE

When I had my first baby, I wanted to increase my income.
To do that, I needed to learn how to sell.
So I joined a networking company to get free training.
I told myself, “Selling is going to be easy peasy. Cuz' I’m good at speaking...”😎

OMG, was I dead wrong.
Selling was brutal.
I got rejected 9 out of 10 times!
And every time someone said “No”, it was very painful.
I took it personally.
It was like receiving a knockout punch in my gut.
In my mind, they weren’t rejecting my product.
They were rejecting ME.😩

One night, I travelled for 3 hours to make a sales presentation.
But not a single person said yes.
I felt so discouraged.
I went home with only one thought: I’ll quit this craziness.
Because I didn’t want to be rejected again.
It was just too painful.😭

But in the wee hours of the morning, as I lay in bed beside my wife and little baby, I knew I had no choice.
That was when I had this insane idea...
WHAT IF I EMBRACED PAIN AS A NORMAL PART OF LIFE?
What if I welcomed rejection, and even look for it, because it’s the only path to success?

I changed the meaning of rejection.
“Rejection = Loser” to “Rejection = Stronger”

If 9 out of 10 rejected me, that means 1 said yes.
So more rejections means more sales.

Here’s what I realized:
The moment I became COMFORTABLE WITH PAIN, I became UNSTOPPABLE.

In the next 12 months of selling, I earned a million pesos.

Today, after 15 years of going through a lot more rejection and pain, I own two businesses that earn 100x more.

We are familiar with “residual bills.” The electric bill, the water bill, the mortgage bill, and the car payment. These bills keep on coming, month after month after month.

So what is residual income?

“Residual income is something you get every month before you get out of bed.”

Elvis Presley is the poster boy for residual income. His estate earns more in residual income now than when Elvis was performing.

Residual income is the opposite of residual bills. This is money that comes to us month after month after month. Residual income means we do something right one time, and then get paid for that event over and over again.

For example, we refer a customer to a company. Each month the customer buys, we get paid. It’s simple, and a very good way to offset those residual bills.

Network marketing helps us get ahead. More money for us, and we can get ahead of all those residual bills.

This is a part-time business choice we shouldn’t refuse. Network marketing is simply recommending and promoting what we like.

We recommend restaurants, music, movies, places to go shopping and even places to take vacations. Recommending and promoting is in our blood. Humans are natural recommenders.

That means everybody does network marketing every day, right?

So why not give ourselves a choice we can't refuse?

Let’s simply say to ourselves: “We already do network marketing every day. We can get paid for it ... or we can continue doing it for free. The choice is up to us. And if we choose to continue doing it for free, that is okay. Charity work is good. It makes the world a better place.”

And then we must decide.
