Seeing what's the underneath weren't that easy — as not all smiles signifies happiness, and not all "I'm okay" is the truth — because it might be the contrast of their words.

We don't know what's behind of those closed jackets and heavy clothes, what's the reason behind those unusual vibes, and what's the loudest cries through their silence and smiles.

Self-Harm can happen to anyone. Sometimes there isn't a single sign or a warning. Then it just blast because the pain becomes too heavy to carry alone. That's when we realize how much a person is struggling.

This 𝙎𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙢 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝. Let's be reminded to check on our loved ones — families, friends, classmates, co-workers, or even strangers. Because a simple act of kindness and even right words — causes a powerful help to someone's journey of struggling or healing. Remember:

Let’s rewind to a month ago 🌊
Last January 9, UMDC Senior High School students took on the 3rd Quarter HOPE Swimming Examination at the Davao del Sur Sports Center. The day was all about putting theory into action—showcasing skills in aquatics and freediving while emphasizing water safety, proper breath control, and confidence in the water. It was a meaningful experience that reminded everyone that knowing how to move, breathe, and stay calm in the water because it isn’t just for performance, but for safety and survival too. 💪🐬

With hearts committed to service and social responsibility, the University of Mindanao SHS Grade 12 HUMSS students conducted a community outreach on December 17, 2025, at Barangay Kiagot, Digos City. The activity aimed to bring support, learning, and encouragement to the children and families of the community.

The day was filled with engaging games, and meaningful interactions, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for the students. These simple yet impactful moments strengthened the bond between the students and the community they served.
