LOOK | Strengthening Commitment Through Meaningful Faculty and Personnel Meeting, August 20, 2026

Saint Mary’s Academy held a productive Faculty and Personnel Meeting led by School Principal Ma’am Sevilla S. Doles, bringing the members of the school community together to align plans, address concerns, and strengthen their shared commitment to providing quality education and a safe, nurturing environment for learners.

The meeting focused on key matters, including end-of-term block school activities, the development of contextualized academic distinction awards appropriate to the school’s setting as a private institution, and other important concerns affecting the school community.

A meaningful part of the discussion centered on strengthening the school’s safety measures, promoting greater care for the environment, finding practical solutions to issues encountered, and ensuring continued support for faculty and personnel. These conversations encouraged everyone to look beyond challenges and work together toward responsive and sustainable solutions.

The meeting also reflected the strong leadership support of DBES Superintendent Rev. Fr. Romulo C. Felix, PhD., whose guidance continues to inspire the school in pursuing its mission and improving its services. Likewise, the spiritual guidance of School Chaplain Rev. Fr. Johnson C. Logan remains a source of strength as the faculty and personnel strive to serve with faith, compassion, and dedication.

More than a meeting, the gathering became an opportunity to listen, collaborate, and renew commitment—affirming that every member of the SMA community has an important role in building a safer, greener, more supportive, and mission-driven school.

Together, the SMA faculty and personnel continue to move forward—united in purpose, strengthened by faith, and committed to making a positive impact on every learner and the entire school community.

"The priest is not a priest for himself; he does not give himself absolution; he does not administer the Sacraments to himself. He is not for himself, he is for you." St. John Mary Vianney

He is a model of sanctity in his devout celebration the Eucharist and in his patient hearing of confessions. He did all these with remarkable humility and simplicity, a manner of serving and living which God’s people are happy to see in their priests.

Let us continue pray for our priests especially our pastors and thank them for their service to God and to the Church. And let us pray also for our retired priests, those who are sick. And for those who have died.

Saint John Mary Vianney, patron of Priests, pray for us and pray for our priests.
