Last Friday, June 26, the Ifugao Village Integrated School family gathered for a simple yet meaningful Send-Off Program in honor of Sir ๐

๐ค๐๐ฃ ๐๐๐๐ช๐ฃ as he embarks on a new chapter of his teaching journey.
The celebration was filled with gratitude, laughter, and cherished memories. One of the highlights of the program was the heartfelt tribute shared by our School Principal, Dr. Joanna C. Pasuquin, who described Sir Jessie through an acronym of his name:
Jโ Just and fair
E โ Excellent and intelligent teacher
Sโ Steadfastโconsistent and unwavering in his commitment
Sโ A good shepherdโorganized and a responsible steward of school files and classrooms
Iโ Initiativeโalways willing to help; you only have to ask, and he gets the job done, especially with school reports
E โ Empatheticโwith a big heart for learners, parents, and fellow teachers
Indeed, Sir Jessie is truly an asset to our school.
One by one, his colleagues shared heartfelt messages of appreciation, expressing their gratitude for his friendship, dedication, and the positive impact he made on our school community. Sir Jessie, in turn, thanked each of his colleagues and reminisced about the unforgettable memories we created together. The celebration continued with a fellowship lunch, where stories, laughter, and warm conversations made the occasion even more memorable.
Perhaps the most touching part of the day was seeing some of our learners become emotional and even shed tears as Sir Jessie prepared to leave. Their heartfelt reaction was a beautiful testament to the genuine care, compassion, and positive influence he had on the lives of his students.
Ifugao Village Integrated School will always cherish the day you became part of this community. Your dedication, humility, and passion for service have left an imprint that time and distance can never erase.
Although your journey now leads you to another school, this is not goodbyeโit is simply "We'll see you around."We pray that God will continue to bless your ministry in education, guide your every step, and use you to touch even more lives.
Thank you for everything, Sir Jessie John Sagun. Once an IVISIAN, always an IVISIAN.
"Good teachers teach. Great teachers leave footprints in the hearts of their students and colleagues."
