The Nutrition and Dietetics Program of Quirino State University (QSU) is a four-year degree program that provides students with a strong foundation in the science of nutrition, dietetics, and food service management. This program aims to develop competent and compassionate nutrition and dietetics professionals who can promote optimal health and wellness in the community. The QSU Nutrition and Diet

etics Program is accredited by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP). The program has a comprehensive curriculum that includes core courses in nutrition, food science, biochemistry, physiology, and research. Students will also take courses in management, communication, and counseling to develop skills needed in various settings. One of the strengths of the QSU Nutrition and Dietetics Program is its hands-on approach to learning. Students will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills through various practicum activities in food service management, clinical nutrition, and community nutrition. These activities are conducted in hospitals, clinics, schools, and other community-based settings under the supervision of experienced professionals. The QSU Nutrition and Dietetics Program also provides opportunities for research and extension activities. Students can participate in research studies on nutrition-related topics, and they can also engage in community extension activities that promote nutrition education and healthy lifestyles. Upon completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the licensure examination for registered nutritionist-dietitians (RNDs) in the Philippines.
